BoBo Asian Grocery Store

Some stuff are pretty pricey compared to other Asian store around but it's convenient cos it close to home. They have good amount of things to choose on or pick up to make your asian cuisine.

Very good store for a lot of Asian staples. However, it is overflowing with product so some people might find it claustrophobic.

Very helpful while I was shopping! They knew exact what I needed when I inquired

Decent store, however it's annoying that they aren't open when they say you are. They make up their own hours. I was even told to leave once because the guy working wanted to go somewhere at noon. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦

WOW WOW wow WOW! I'm new to Lansing, and I sort of just stuck to the small Asian grocery store near my house. However, this is why you search / research into other options. Bobo is a bit of a drive away, but upon me walking in, the person at the counter didn't know amazing english, the variety was huge here. I got many Asian vegetables that I wasn't able to get at the smaller Asian store. I got glass noodles, white pepper, some beans, snacks, drinks, peanuts to roast, and I was ECSTATIC to see dried fish. I come from an area where there are much more authentic Asian grocery stores that literally have restaurants with people shouting in different languages making food and selling stinky stuff. People get used to it. But after shopping around some Asian markets here in lansing, I was worried I wouldn't get that authenticity and my smelly fish and more flavor. Well, Bobo definitely has lots of food variety and does not stray away from dehydrated fish, even silkworm! ;-)) I was able to make a great Thai dish put these ingredients. And even if the person at the counter didn't know perfect english, they helped as much as they could when I had a question on selection or trying to find different items. They also didn't rush me out when I was trying to fill up my basket and find the right ingredients for my recipe. It was nearing closing, they were sweeping the floors, and they said for me to take my time and to ask him any questions. I felt very accommodated.

This store is really nice! They have a great selection of herbs, candy, and food. The only criticism I can think of is that the gift section isn’t organized very well, and some imported items can be pricey. The prices make sense, though! I recommend stopping in. It’s a nice place.

Typical small Asian store. Good selection. Nice people. It's not Walmart, but it will help you get your Lumia wrapper, rice and noodle fix for sure! Sometimes they also have very good Asian garden seeds. Water spinach, etc.
