Besides the actively decomposing fruit, moldy meat, painfully slow cashiers who move at glacial speed, and horrible baggers who seem genuinely confused by the concept of groceries…. This place sucks! Off to Ralphs we go.

Had a wonderful time at the Oktoberfest on the side to stop by the la Mesa Vons. Everything with stocked well manicured and very well handled. Decided to try out the self checkout everything was a pleasure walked out I had a great night. Would definitely recommend going and checking them out. ✌️

My 1st time here, was craving some ice cream I won't say the brand cause it tends to be sold out at most locations, however this Von's had it...The store is laid out well,clean, spacious,Starbucks as you come thru the door, variety from what I saw,reasonable prices when using your club card. I will definitely be coming back ...

One of nicest Vons I've seen. They have 8 self-checkout kiosks. There's a pack and delivery crew near the entrance. The selections at this store are so many, lots in stock. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is big and easy access.

Clean store. Place of some items is questionable. For example, why is molasses in the isle with syrup? 99.9% of all other stores, molasses is in the baking goods isle. If you want something from the butcher counter, be prepared to wait for a butcher. They are rarely around and when they are, they give off the vibe that they don't want to wait on you. Same with the deli. Not happy deli workers. They never smile and pretty much ask "whadda ya want". For meats and deli, go to Fraiser Farms. It is fully staffed and they say hello.

Clean, helpful people. Stores bone manage and taking care of I'm actually a little bit surprised for this area. What makes is a pretty good area but when you get closer to El cajon boulevard used to be morn down the hill they've cleaned it up a lot. Great employees helpful people

Our local neighborhood Vons. Unfortunately it was ransacked during the sympathetic George Floyd riots but corporate has restocked and refurbished the local. Ask the butcher for the specials of the day or those secret deals a la In-and-Out secret menu. The Bakery section is wonderful for those last birthday or wedding cake orders. The Deli counter is very clean and they have weekly Primo or Dietz and Watson's specials. Also, for the Sushi adventures, Friday's $5 special is a wonderful introduction to Japanese cuisine prepared by in-house staff. Enjoy good food!
