The food generally looked pretty good, but at the time that I was in the store which was about 130 in the afternoon the taco Tuesday taco bar was pretty picked over and sad looking. I realize that this is because it was popular and they simply didn’t have time to refill it, but it was slightly disappointing. I opted for the salad bar

We purchased multiple packages of New York strip that were all stocked in the same cooler under a clearly marked $6.99/lb sale sign. When entering our receipt at home, we discovered that about half were charged at $12.99/lb. My wife called immediately and was told it was her responsibility to check every individual package, even though they were all displayed together under the sale tag. A short time later the owner called and offered to make it right, which we appreciated. I attempted to update my original review to reflect that resolution, but found that I had been blocked from the store’s Facebook page and could no longer access my review. Posting this simply so other customers are aware to double-check pricing, even when items are stocked under a single sale sign.

This grocery store is Unmatched. Unique items to be intrigued by. Incredible prices on there meat. Discount items marked down to scavage through. My goodness. I haven't even mentioned the staff that makes you feel like you are the only customer that exists. I'm so pleased shopping there that if no one reads this review that I would still feel satisfied knowing that I got to express how thrilling it is shopping there! Thx for making every shopping experience something to look forward to Midtown Fresh!!!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Midtown Fresh Market is a great neighborhood grocery store. The store is clean, well-organized, and always well stocked. Produce is fresh, the meat and deli sections are solid, and the prepared food options are convenient when you’re short on time. Staff is friendly and helpful, and parking is easy. Definitely a go-to spot in the area.

I truly like this store a lot. It is owned by a family of Chaldean brothers/sons. They are focusing on serving a variety of underserved markets in the Kalamazoo area. They have an emphasis on areas especially I would describe as Mediterranean surrounding regions. A lot of Hispanic, Middle Eastern including Halal and Kosher foods, and some North African items as well. They also have been bringing a lot of traditionally Black American foods. They also bring some delightful local foods from farms across southwest Michigan. The owners and staff are very kind and have learned me by name/face. I have asked for specialty items from Puerto Rico and they have brought me some particular items I rarely find unless I go to Chicago or ask one of the Mexican markets to bring them. Their produce is fantastic and fresh. Their selection of local craft beers and alcohol is fantastic. Their spices are very diverse. I love having this worldly market so close to my home and it really makes me happy to know this college town has so many people from so many different cultures that can be supported by a locally owned grocery store

Great Neighborhood Grocery. Great sushi, hot food bar, and their soups are off the hook! The best part though is the people. They are all very helpful and friendly. Love this place!

This is my favorite store in Kalamazoo. The produce section is incredible and I keep finding things I've never tried before, like red bananas, rambutans, and prickly pears. It makes grocery shopping actually feel fun. I also love the little things, like the small glass bowl I found yesterday for only two dollars. It's just a really pleasant place to shop and it always puts me in a better mood. Thank you for creating a store that feels cared about.
