Smaller store. Nice deli with many prepared salads, pulled pork, fried chicken, and other warm prepared food. Clean. Well organized. Good looking baked goods. Small meat department but varied options. Store offers lots of options. Employees in asile and service desk friendly and helpful. Nice substantial plastic carts. Weekly sales beneficial.

Love Schnucks..... This place is one of the last stores of its kind to continue to feel like a "mom and pop..." It is nestled in just off of the main drag in Janesville. The prices are decent and I love the bakery. They deliver, as well. Door dash it if need be...

I went here with my 80 year old grandmother to help her shop, and she is in a scooter. She had bought an onion the day before & it was bad and she wanted to exchange it. The worker, named Storm, was super rude to her. First off, how hard is it to give her a .60 onion that wasn’t bad in exchange for the rotten one she got not even 24 hours prior? Also, my grandmother handed it to her to throw in the trash literally a foot away from the two and she gave her an attitude & said she didn’t want it either. How hard is it to be somewhat decent to an elder who wasn’t being rude or unreasonable? It’s YOUR job- work somewhere else if you’re going to go out of your way to be rude to a customer. Shortly after her encounter she went over and vented to her co worker right in front of me. This is just the start of the rudeness my grandma received while at this store. Jack in the meat department was amazing. He was so sweet to her and helped her out with her questions- he actually made me forget about the first rude encounter earlier in the store. As we were checking out there was a lady in front of us, then my grandmother, then myself. We each got items and my grandmother asked Nick (our cashier) for the divider so her and I could separate our items. He rudely shouted at her "I got it, I got it" as if she wanted to separate her items and the lady before us. However, it was for my items and her items. I told him that there was no need to be rude and shout at her. I am EXTREMELY livid that she was treated this way. If you don’t like your job around people then find something else!! I get they deal with people who aren’t too pleasant a lot of times but there is no need to be rude to a nice customer, especially an 80 year old woman in a scooter.

We love this store! Everything is always clean and organized in ways that make it easy to find everything you need. It's large enough to have everything we need but small enough that we can get everything we need quickly. Employees are friendly, kind, and always helpful. We love the fresh meat, produce, bakery, and deli. Our Schnucks Reward card saves us a lot of money!

Got ripped of on lane 11. Didn’t load all my bags. I went back and they didn’t see anything. Same thing happened and they said they found the missing items and come in. No receipt needed. I go there and they said I need a receipt… they are stealing. They have too many managers running around also. Lost my business for GOOD, Festival is my new store. Better selection and much cheaper. That’s $100 once a week they will be missing out on. Not honest people working there.

Very expensive! Cost me $60.00 more to shop there than our normal supermarket . Couldn't find any tahini or croissants Only four days of shelf life for milk. We're seniors, we don't drink that much milk. Only upsides: There was no waiting to check out. They have a decent produce section and deli .

I was very disappointed in my service. The line was super long and they only had 2 checkouts open. Took forever. Then I was overcharged for an item. The clerk was not friendly about it. She then asks Do you want me to correct it? Not friendly. When I said yes of course I only want to pay the correct amount. She got huffy and corrected it. Shoved my change at me. Didnt say a thing. Not sorry for the inconvenience or even a goodbye. I doubt I will shop there again.
