Tha Mao Oriental Market

Super small. Not much selection (of ramen, cold drinks or even chips). They don’t even have cold bottles of green tea. What a bummer. I’m realizing Jacksonville doesn’t have any good oriental markets like south florida does (sunrise).

Lots of exotic Asian fruits, spices, food, vegetables at great price.

I love going to this store, it's very close to me and I always find what I need, the people are very friendly.

Update: They just moved to new location which is at 1704 Southside Blvd. They moved to a new location. Good Asian grocery store, clean, and friendly family.

I really enjoyed this place, just like the nearby Lily FS Restaurant! Tha Mao Oriental Market offers a great selection of fresh and high-quality products. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of Asian spices, sauces, and unique ingredients that are hard to find in other stores. Everything is clean and well-organized, and the staff is always ready to help and offer suggestions. The atmosphere is friendly, and you feel right at home. I will definitely return here!

They had all the ingredients I needed to make my favorite dish Beef Pho. The gentleman was very helpful and the woman at the register rung me up. They weren't very welcoming when I first came in and at the register, I dont know if she meant it, but she acted as if she just wanted to rush me out. Not a bad experience but could of been better.

Great prices. The cheapest mushroom prices I've seen around town. Decent selection of products when compared to the size of the store. Sign on door says they're open from 8:30 am - 8:30 pm, although Google shows that they're closed during the week. In my haste to go home to cook, I forgot to take a picture of the sign.
