New World Food Mart

12/22/2025: This store is a family favorite. They have everything you need for Korean food and the prices are waaaay better than the competitors in Jacksonville. If you've never been, you're missing out. Best Korean store hands down!

One of these best Korean Markets in Jax. I’m very surprised I had not written a review before as I have been coming to this mart for years. Inside they have a small restaurant inside, that’s cash only. The food has always been wonderful. Pictures is the beef box and some kimchi from the cooler. Great supply of items in the mart for a good price.

True hidden gem! Tucked in the back of this great Asian market off Beach Blvd is this sweet lady making your favorite Korean dishes. I can’t wait to return and count the days every time we come! This place has a hidden garden in the back and uses fresh produce to create works of art that taste amazing. Flavor profile is off the chart! I love to watch her work her magic and the best part, it’s reasonably priced. She only accepts cash and you can shop for other culinary delights while you are they. We just can’t get enough! Market has a great selection and everyone there is so nice. Expand your palette and show this place some love! Local family owned and operated.

I noticed there were some new products since the last time I visited. Prices were competitive. Although there may be some excitement of new places opening up, we have to remember to support our local stores. The service is more personal. Location can be more convientient for some. The store has been around to serve our needs for a long time, and we need to make sure we show our appreciation. The food is kept fresh and the staff are always trying to do their best to accommodate our needs. Be sure to show your support.

Came here in search of short ribs and bulgogi as the other place I usually go to didn’t had it, and found it just in time. The place is large, and has variety of different stuff to purchase. The location of the spot seems a bit skeptical but the store itself wasn’t bad. The cashier she was nice enough to answer my question about enoki mushroom as I was also trying to find it.

Healthy beef box lunch $14, medium tub of kimchi $8 it’s so good, crispy & yummy (cash only)

Love this spot. Great selection of supplies and groceries, friendly staff, and the best kimchi in town. Don't skip the Kim Bahp on your way out!
