Seoul Oriental Groceries

This store has the best kimchi I have found in Huntsville so far. They were very nice and helpful. They have everything I needed for cooking Korean food. It is a specialty store, but for Korean cooking, it is the best I have found. For years, I passed this place by for other stores because I thought it was closed. It is not. It’s open, and a very good store!

Just bought a gallon of kimchi and the lady was extremely friendly helping me pick it out. She makes it herself once a week and was explaining how she make hers. It's a small place and out of the way, but it looks like they have staple Asian foods. Update 11-17-20: This is my go to place for kimchi and Korean items. Just bought some more kimchi and it was fantastic.

They always have fresh things you can't find in other stores. They make food there. Always nice and explain what something is it how to make. Great place to go if you are wanting to try to make something authentic!!!

super friendly and helpful staff, had all of the items i needed including gochugaru(needed to make my own kimchi)seaweed for soup, sliced rice cakes for birthday soup, dakwon(pickled radish), sushi seaweed, nicely thin wonton wrappers, and a bargain price for a gallon of their kimchi which was very fresh and the best that i've purchased in an asian store. though i live in madison i will definitely take the time to drive and shop here.

The lady was very nice, friendly and helpful. She helped me find everything I needed and gave me some advice on how to use/cook it. The inside of the building was also very clean and organized.

While the store is fairly small, there is a wide variety of frozen, fresh, and packaged products. The owners are kind and helpful.

Plenty of fresh Korean groceries. Excellent customer service. Extremely friendly, clean n nice 👌
