Palama Supermarket on King

This is my Mom's favorite Asian/Korean grocery store. It's small compared to other Asian big-box markets but they have everything you need. But what I like about Palama on King is the variety of prepared food or bentos and the banchan. Really fresh, delicious and affordable. The parking lot is a little tight, and might have to wait for a little bit to get a spot. The staff/cashiers are very friendly.

Bought cheap dinner Kim Chee Stew for $12 with tax included. They gave a lot and it was very tasty. In fact, it was more tastier than some of the higher priced kimchee stew at other restaurants. Moreover, the staff are very friendly.

Korean supermarket with lots of variety, has a wide selection of groceries, snacks, and prepared foods.

Favorite Korean market. Most stuff here is cheaper than the other Palama market near Ala Moana or H mart. I like this Kalihi store. And there's a small eatery inside. It is a good price and big volume. I like spicy pork and it is only $10.

I enjoy going to Palama Market and picking up already made box lunches and sides...the prices are still reasonable for the portions they offer and you can find a lot of different items from food, drinks, skin care, pots and pans, plants, and many other snacks and household items as well. Check it out for yourselves.

We LOVE Palama Supermarket!! This was our go-to spot for awesome meals and Asian groceries during our time in Oahu. Not only do you get great prices on fresh produce, their food court also serves up super delicious bentos at more than affordable prices! The location on Makaloa St (not this one on N King St) also has stalls for sushi, Korean fried chicken, and coffee/waffles/binsoo, but we didn't try those. We went straight for the Korean bento offerings. Simply put, if you're a fan of Korean food and are in the Honolulu area, you HAVE TO come to Palama Supermarket!! 10 stars!!
