4/13/2022 We finally made it back here! Too bad this place isn't closer to home as we rarely drive to town. Today we got a container of the peppers and daikon in the spicy shoyu sauce and also some cucumber kim chee. Hubby loves the peppers and daikon but it's too spicy for me. Boo that our fridge and freezer are full so we couldn't get the mandoo or the meats. Friendly service with a smile and a wide assortment of kimchee. If you love kim chee, you have to try Mr. Kim Chee Lee. 12/3/2021 A friend of a friend said that this is his grandma's go-to place for kimchi. Of course we had to try! We took awhile to look and choose because they had so many kinds of kimchi and sizes of containers. We got a large jar of the won bok kimchi, some thickly cut daikon kimchi, and some peppers and daikon in a spicy shoyu sauce. All were really delicious! While we were there we could see them making fresh kimchi in the back. Friendly ladies helped us. Next time I want to try the marinated meats and also pick up some frozen mandoo. Great place!!

I don't leave reviews almost ever, but I had to for this place. I just ate some kimchi with rice for a small meal and it made me want to leave a review I've passed this place a time or two and yesterday I finally stopped in. It's a small place with a few refrigerators full of options. I also saw a gentleman working/mixing something in the back. I got a medium sized container of the traditional kimchi. It was decently priced band I was excited to get home and try it. The taste was very fresh, crisp and not too spicy. I loved it immediately! It doesn't taste anything like the kimchi I've had eaten at any of the restaurants on island or purchased at a grocery store. Those all have this one peculiar tast that I can't identify, but I'm not super find of it. The stuff I got here though...🥰🤤😍..yes. Just yes! Will be coming back when I want more. Thanks for what you do!

Just moved to the island and was recommended Mr Kimchee Lee and it was some of the best kimchee I've had! And I've had a lot of kimchee coming from Los Angeles KTown. Happy to have found this gem in Honolulu.

Great place to pick up tasty korean banchan (small side dishes) that are very fresh! If you want some meat dishes (and if you ask), they also have frozen bulgogi and marinated pork available but not visible. Their kimchi is the kind that taste really good (and more delicious) and crunchy when fresh. What's so great about their kimchi is that even if you buy too much and it's been sitting in the fridge for a while, using it to make kimchi jjigae (stew) with the leftovers tastes amazing, which is not always the case with leftover kimchi! Goes to show their kimchi is legit.

If you love Kim Chee and it's health benefits, you must try it from this store! Everything is freshly made! Great Ban Chan. The stuffed cucumber Kim Chee is really awesome! You can taste all of the ingredients...ginger, radish/turnip, chives...so nice! Not some previously frozen stuff! Many other choices too! Won Bok, turnip, Chizo leaf, more...it all feels really healthy.

I was looking forward to eating their Kimchee after moving from New York. Hmmm, let me tell you pretty nasty kimchee. They won't survive in NY. It doesn't have that authentic kicks into it. I am sure those of kimchee lovers know what I am talking about. Go to Palama Super Market they have a hell of better, Kimchee.

Love the kim chee here. Other great things to eat. Keep missing all the really good stuff that sells out earlier.
