Super Oriental Market

What a neat store! So much asian foods and items you will definitely find what you are looking for. Highly recommend for anything you may need for those far east recipes. I made a Vietnamese Pho with ingredients i found there. The fish market and meat market were packed. The prices are really good also. Even when compared to the big box stores or Amazon also. Will definitely be back. 5 stars!

Super Oriental Market has quickly become my go-to spot for ingredients I can’t find anywhere else. The store is packed with fresh produce, specialty snacks, and an impressive variety of sauces, spices, and frozen foods from different places. Every visit feels like a little treasure hunt.

I love the different varieties of exotic foreign items and I will come back. The lady said too another that she had never seen us in there before, p.s I know several different languages myself. With that being said you never know what some one else knows and understands.

Best Asian market in the Birmingham area. Bonus that a great restaurant is attached to it. I come for lunch then go find some hard to find snacks in the store. They are very helpful. The so have whole roasted duck for sale.

Surprisingly a LOT of things inside a small space!!! Expect to be pleasantly surprised. If you have something you aren't sure you'd find in Birmingham you'd find it here. A BIG WIDE variety of asian groceries, kitchen items, cuts of meat & vegetables. At this point they are not just a grocery store 😂 They also have gator fillet in the frozen section!!! What can I say!! GATOR CHOMP!!!! Also a very obvious thing to say about Asian grocery store ik but a whole new world of plant protein for you non-asian vegans and vegetarians. We're just v cool 😎✌️ June 2 2023 update... I love everything here but can u guys please keep things labeled "keep frozen" inside freezers not in open fridges? A few months ago I bought a bag of youtiaos that was on one of these open fridges, just to come home to unpack it and find out they had black mold in nooks and crannies. Me and my gf made another trip to super oriental on June 2nd and picked up a package of dumplings that was in these open fridges, again, just to find out that they were supposed to be frozen. I love yall but this is just SO UNSAFE!!!!! 😭

Great store to get all your Asian need specialties. They will even order special items if it’s not in their store! I think they’re the only Asian grocery in Central Alabama thats fairly good size. Asian Vegetables are fairly fresh on certain days.

Truly authentic Asian shopping environment. Freshly filleted Sea Bass is a great food value. Fresh Bok Choy, Bean sprouts, and other veggies are available here. Dim sung, yuy. There's also a family restaurant attached where they're your Chinese restaurant cuisine is prepared and served in abundance. Bon appetit
