Popularly dubbed Asia Time Square. These is a mesh of Asian businesses with a little of restaurants and the one giant grocery store that's like a farmer's market that sells all nostalgic flavors for African, Asian, Caribean and Hispanic palate. You can also stock up on the various protein that can be found here! Haven't really checked out the whole square yet. Will do once I get requests to.
My experience at the Hong Kong Market in Grand Prairie, TX on Friday, 2/20/2026 was extremely disappointing. As a Black man born and raised in Texas, I understand that cultural differences exist throughout the DFW metroplex. However, nothing justifies being made to feel unwelcome or disrespected while simply trying to inquire about a product. From the moment I entered the store, the atmosphere felt uncomfortable. The customer service I received was noticeably unfriendly and dismissive. I felt as though I was being watched(WHICH I WAS) and treated differently compared to the other shoppers. No customer should feel singled out or looked down upon while spending their hard-earned money. So I'm in the store specifically looking for frog legs. After locating the Seafood Department in the back, I waited patiently at the counter behind a few other customers. While I was standing there, the employee working the counter(an older gentleman) acknowledged customers who came up after me but did not acknowledge me at all. When he finished helping the woman in front of me, he skipped over me and began assisting another customer who had arrived later. I calmly and politely stepped forward and said "excuse me," letting him know that I had been waiting and was looking for frog legs. Instead of responding professionally, he began mumbling and gesturing vaguely toward the freezer behind me. I went to check the freezers, opening several doors trying to find the item. From across the counter, he then yelled out "NO MORE." To make sure I heard him correctly, I walked back toward the counter, and he again loudly said, "NO MORE, WE’RE OUT," in a tone that felt irritated and dismissive. At that point, I chose to remain calm and simply left the store. In closing I believe businesses should strive to create an environment that is welcoming and respectful to everyone, regardless of race or background. Unfortunately, that was not my experience on this visit. As a result of this experience, I will not be patronizing this establishment again or suggesting it to others.✌🏾 I hope management takes customer concerns seriously and works toward fostering a more inclusive and professional atmosphere moving forward. P.S Funny thing, my wife checked by phone after I shared with her my experience about the frog legs and was told they had plenty of frog legs in season, yet my visit told a different story 🤔 ~Very Disappointed ~
We went to the shopping center to vote and came away with hard to find Asian food that we've been missing. Great store.
This is the best market place I've been to. Very clean out. And lots of parking. The stores are clean and are really good. You need to come here. Lots of room in the super market, there is some kinda expired fruit but everything else very nice lots to pick from. Very clean again and lots of room. Recommend.
Very nice and a bazaar of random shops, really enjoyed Viet voyage, enjoyed my experience and the dragon impromptu dragon show 🐉
Their firecracker show for Feb 22, 2026 was a joke! Kept 1000 people waiting for more than an hour than scheduled time.
