New Truong Nguyen Market

This is my family’s favorite Vietnamese market to shop at. We’ve been coming here since they first opened and have seen all the changes over the years. I love their weekly deals, which they post on Facebook. The prices are great compared to SF Market (Cali Saigon Mall) or 99 Ranch. They have fresh produce, sauces, seafood, noodles, and pretty much everything I need to cook Vietnamese dishes. It’s a must-stop whenever I’m stocking up on groceries!

Highlights: 1. This is my mom's favorite Asian market to go buy seasonal fruits. 2. Abundant selections of fresh Asian greens and vegetables 3. Live crabs and crawfish available during season Con: Snacks are not always fresh, I have encountered some stale fried pork skins that tasted too old and there is no expiration date on the package.

Went in just to look, they had a good section of oriental veggies and to my surprise a section of different kinds of eggs. Everything from quail to duck eggs and even a few ostrich eggs. Walking to the back they had huge tanks of live fish, crabs and even a tank with live shrimp. I was in oriental store heaven. Their isles had tons of things I was unfamiliar with and many things I recognized but had never tried. I grabbed a few adventurous items, Korean deserts, a few fruits and vegetables and was on my way out the door. The cashier was really friendly and the workers were knowledgeable. I spent a total of 37 dollars for my products and tonight I'm going to try a Asian stir fry.

For a Dominican living in Dallas, it's very good. I find my pumpkin there, the real one we found in the Dominican Republic, and the vegetables and groceries are very good for me. I love it. It's a little far from my place, but it's worth it.

today is October 24, i came to the market and looked for those items on sale as they post on their facebook ( please see the picture), and they told me that the ads is no longer effective even though they still valid…. OMG please tell me what kind of business doing this to their customers? they put out the sale to attract more people to come and just simply saying NO at the store????? please be aware and dont throw your money into this type of business. UNBELIEVABLE

I have been going to New Truong Nguyen when it was just Truong Nguyen and a different family owned the store. I can always get all of my Vietnamese food goods here. The place is dingy and hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a long time, but you can find good specials

Vietnamese grocery store with a good selection of seafood and fresh produce. They usually run decent sales. Most common Asian cuisine ingredients and needs can be found here. The store is clean and well organized. Aisles can feel a little cramped when it's busy. One of our regular stops when in the Garland area while visiting the Metroplex.
