Hiep Thai Food Store

Big market with a good selection of products. They have fresh meat, seafood, and produce. They had persimmons for cheap compared to other markets that I frequent. They also have tons of unique snacks/chips.

I came in hoping to find the mango ice cream that I saw at a restaurant nearby and they have them! The ice cream is amazing by the way. I love mango!

Huge market, helpful staff, good food, free ample parking. The mixed meat pho was very good but beef was fatty, needed to be pretrimmed before serving. Very attentive staff. Clean restaurant and nice atmosphere.

Everyone be aware of store trick you. They hide the bad fruit under and put new fruit on top. These are the pictures for everyone be careful. Manger should handle this and improve this happen.

Hiep Thai Food Store is my favorite Vietnamese grocery in Garland! I usually shop here once a week, and I’m always happy with how fresh the vegetables, meats, and seafood are. With the tariffs lately, I’ve noticed other stores raising prices on imported goods—but not Hiep Thai. They don’t take advantage of the situation, and I really respect that. Fair prices, great selection, and consistently fresh products make this place a gem in the community.

This place had all the ingredients I needed to make papaya salad. However, as other reviews stated, this location has a strong stench when you walk right in. I couldn’t figure out if it was the exotic fruits near the front of the store or the seafood section in the back. Overall, it had everything I was looking for and more.

We always have a positive experience at Hiep Thai and often find a good deal on seafood and fresh produce. They have an extensive meat market. The store is clean and well organized. There are some shops at the entrance with a variety of goods. We've also purchased live plants from here. It's a regular stop for us in Garland when in the Metroplex.
