Pinoy Pantry Market (Van Tran Oriental Market)

Very homie little asian mart. If you need a quick fix to your asian recipes or snacks without driving all the way to hmart, this spot is it. Staff are friendly and professional. They also have filipino Halo Halo!! Top tier i must say. Definitely recommended!!

They had what I needed to make hot pot my only issue is that it's so small I didn't have time to look over other things that I wanted. There was a gentleman in the store following me around and I couldn't browse the shelves. I don't know if it was a customer or he worked there but it made it difficult for me to buy more items. It was my first time here. I'll try them on a day with less people but I didn't have time to see what else they had.

3 out of 5 stars I recently visited this market looking for ingredients for hot pot. They have a pretty good selection of products, and most items looked fresh and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find shaved lamb meat, but overall, the variety was decent for the size of the store. However, I was disappointed in the customer service. No one offered to help me find anything, and when I approached the counter, the two young ladies actually walked away. The only reason they came back was because another customer started calling for assistance. I also noticed an issue where another customer was charged the wrong price for a vegetable ($3.99 instead of $1.99), which made me extra cautious about watching how things were rung up. It seems like they could definitely improve their customer service and attention at the register. If the staff hadn’t been called back, I’m not sure how long we would’ve waited. Overall, it’s a decent place for fresh Asian groceries, but I would recommend double-checking your receipt and not expecting much help from the staff.

My wife is a Filipina and loves that she can get some of the ingredients and products from home. My daughter likes getting the Filipino snacks she's used to! I have to mention that they sell authentic real Filipino brooms here which can be very difficult to find in the US. The wifey was super happy to find the brooms.

Super nice people work here! They are so helpful and kind! The halo-halo is really good! They have really fine ice so it's not going to hurt your teeth munching on your Halo-halo! More flan though please! My whole family loves this place 💕

Didn't even know y'all were here! So happy to find your store and Lumpia wrappers. I'm trying my hand with Philippino foods and find y'all off Google maps! Such a variety of fruits I've never even dreamed of just waiting for me to try!!

I enjoyed coming to market. I was able to get some of the stuff that I would not have been able to purchase at American markets. They have a good selection of Asian snacks, which always makes me extremely happy. I also got a Halo Halo as I checked out.
