Was feeling peckish for some chocolates and chips and visited the place to grab some (was put up in a hotel nearby) but upon eating them quickly found a lot of them to be quite lacking in flavour, something organic food typically tastes like, and of course, that's exactly the kind of store this was! True confession. I haven't grocery shopped at any Whole Foods in decades. Sure I've popped in occasionally to grab deli food items but not fully grocery shopped because prices were pricey back then. But an Amazon deal lured me back in recently to the Folsom location. And I was impressed with the pricing of all the items throughout the shop, from produce, bakery, staple shelves groceries, to the hot deli. Hey the prices are comparable to the other local grocery stores. The Amazon Friday $12 pizza one topping pizza lured me in. But the two staff at the pizza counter were uncertain in the various ordering processes besides the in person ordering. They did mention the wait time was 50 minutes. They were friendly and had positive attitudes. But with that wait time, I passed on ordering a whole pizza and bought two slices. The single slices are self serve, priced at $3.99. The crust is thin, chewy. Flame baked. Yum! Other notable things about this Whole Foods is the outdoor covered beer patio which draws a crowd year round (they have heat lamps and fans to keep folks cozy comfortable seasonally) and its general location, it is in the Palladio shopping center. Lots of retail shopping and entertainment options.
