Ponderosa Asian Grocery

This was my first time coming here. We were greeted warmly by the nice lady working the front area and register. The store is very well organized, clean and spacious; there are so many items to choose from. I would highly recommend coming here.

An unassuming Korean-owned grocery store on a quiet drive just off Yadkin Road, Ponderosa Asian grocery features mainly Korean pantry staples and the basic necessities of East and Southeast Asian cooking at competitive prices. The store is immaculately tidy and service is aloof but friendly.

This place has the best homemade kimchi! This is the only place I get it from. I am so glad that they are open again. I will definitely be getting more. They also have a lot of authentic Korean ingredients to include fresh vegetables and frozen fish, meat, and seafood. Definitely check it out!

Coming in here is like going to a local store in Korea, everything is arranged like things are arranged in the refrigerators and aisles in Korea. Plus, they have very good prices. I love it!!!
