Amazing raspberries an wonderful ripe strawberries today. The blackberries could have used a few days but I did find a few peaches that were soft and ripe. The hot food was kinda lacking but it was 4pm. I got the salmon chowder and it was better than terrible but I would have expected much better chowder than I got. Was not satisfied with the chowder. Nothing like the quality of MARKET OF CHOICE just down the road. You live a you learn right. Oh yea the Blackberries, I almost forgot about the blackberries. They looked amazing an then I tried one an I'm thoroughly disappointed unlike their great looks the taste was sour a they were very hard. Unfortunate, this could have been a great story, but just like a-lot of Marriages. It was not:(

A very pretty store, well stocked. I got hints of Feng Shui along the ceiling which was neat to see. Friendly staff all around. The hot food options were slight at the time we arrived but what was out was well made and looked good.

Good place to shop with lots of diversity. I took one star away for two reasons. 1) Because they offer a diverse variety of new products in their supplements section and Body Care section, but at the same time, if you find one you like, they will not necessarily continue to sell it because they rotate products so often. 2)Their Deli area offers sandwiches made to order. The gluten-free bread is small in size and straight up tastes bad! I hope they switch to a different type of gluten-free bread soon. The inside contense on the sandwich was tasty and good. They have an excellent selection of fresh produce and once in a while have good sales. Their hot soup selection rotates daily and they have a good variety for those who are vegan, vegetarian, or have gluten allergies, etc. Their salad bar is wonderful and has a large diversity of items.

Visiting from California, we're no strangers to Whole Foods, but the Eugene, Oregon location truly stood out. The store was impeccably organized, offering a vast selection of quality products we've come to expect from the brand. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making our shopping experience even more delightful. It's evident that this location maintains the high standards of Whole Foods, and it's easily on par with, if not better than, many we've visited back home. Kudos to the Eugene team for running such a top-notch store! Highly recommended for both locals and visitors alike.

It's just whole foods. There are additional services (like Amazon services) and a high class atmosphere, very clean environment, extremely fresh selection of foods, but that comes with the increased price tag whenever you buy things. It's just the standard middle upper class supermarket experience, with added Amazon integration. Market of choice offers a better "dine-in" experience and better buffet selections. Fred Meyers comes second after market of choice. Whole foods offers better product selections, and produce is honestly comparable to both Fred Meyers and market of choice. Maybe a little fresher.

DATE: November 19, 2022 This review is specifically directed at this particular Whole Foods Branch in Eugene. I absolutely LOVE whole foods, and have been fortunate enough to always live by several of them all over the west coast. I have been in Eugene for over a year now, and am continually bewildered and frustrated at the beyond lazy and sloppy management of this Eugene branch. Their hot foods bar, salad bar, bakery, deli and pizza bar are hands down continuously THE WORST I have seen at any whole foods branch. They never re-fill the hot foods, and they never ever have a full hot bar with all the several fresh and delicious hot food choices, which every other branch always has! They also let whatever mediocre small choices they have, all dried and crusty food sit all day, without putting out fresh batches. Also, they literally put out the same mediocre choices EVERYDAY, just a few burnt, dried up vegetables, two Indian curries and burnt taco bar, with scanty crusty, dried up choices. The salad bar more then once had dried, uncooked quinoa as a choice, which is the same thing as pouring dried uncooked rice as a choice for salad. Most days of the week they never have the pizza bar operating, they don't have an active bakery, with daily fresh baked goods like all other whole foods, no fresh vegan doughnuts, cupcakes and beautiful custom cakes, just old cookies and slices of cakes, which I assume are from other whole foods probably delivered from Portland branches. This is just the worst, most poorly managed Whole Foods I have ever seen, and I am actually amazed that they get away with it, from their corporate management. I have seen photos of this branch's hot food/salad bar deli from years ago, when they first opened, and it looks like they used to be a thriving, beautiful, extraordinary Whole Foods with high standards when they first opened five years ago. Well, let me tell you, DON'T be fooled by the photos at this branch from years ago, because today you will absolutely not get the premium whole foods experience here. It is the most disappointing whole foods, (perhaps in the whole country?!) which I sincerely hope will change, and I will swiftly edit this review once they get their act together. Get your act together Eugene Whole Foods!!! UPDATE April 4, 2023: NOTHING at all has changed, still the worst in existence Whole Foods hot bar, salad bar, pizza (practically non existent) no fresh baked goods like vegan doughnuts, cookies etc. I am resolved to conclude it’s never going to change, and I still don’t know how they get away with it?!
