⭐☆☆☆☆ One Star for "Good Supermarket" - The Name is Ironic Reviewed 2 days ago The name "Good Supermarket" is, unfortunately, a complete misrepresentation. The only thing "good" here is the name itself. My recent experience was by far the worst I have ever had in any grocery store. The core of the problem is the staff, particularly in the fish section. They are unbelievably rude and hostile. When I tried to select a larger shrimp from the display, the associate snapped at me, "It's $8.99 per pound," even though the clearly marked price was $5.99. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, his response was, "Go call the police." I am not exaggerating. I witnessed him do the same to another customer who dared to try and choose a pomfret fish. He rudely told them they couldn't select their own, and the customer left without buying anything. A middle-aged couple nearby saw my situation and confirmed that another associate had been incredibly rude to them as well, simply for shopping in the same aisle. The store itself was disorganized and unkempt. The entire atmosphere is unpleasant. A note to management: If you don't allow customers to select their own fresh products, put up a sign. It's my money, and I have the right to choose what I'm buying. If you can't provide that basic service, be transparent about it. I did eventually call the manager's office. The woman who came to help was actually very professional and tried to resolve the issue. However, even while she was assisting me, the original fish associate was in the background screaming, "Call the police! Why did you call her? This is so funny!" It was unprofessional and surreal. I will not be wasting my time or money here again. I would strongly advise anyone who values their peace of mind to shop elsewhere

I’ve been going to this supermarket ever since I was a child and today was the day where me and my mother were being treated super rudely by this snarky woman at the fish market. My mother asked for a bag because she wasn’t going to touch the fish with her bare hands, this woman rudely said it’s right there (as if it isn’t YOUR job to help us pick out the fish). When my mom picked the fish that she liked the woman weighed it then proceeded to mumble under her breath in mandarin (we speak mandarin) "it’s a cheap fish anyways, of course someone like you would buy it" pinpointing that the fish was $2 and my mother was "cheap". Of course we stood up for ourselves because YOU AS A SEAFOOD CLERK should know better. We all have families to feed so what if the fish was cheap?? But guys be aware of the woman with a nasty attitude she should honestly get fired.

It’s a decent supermarket. You can expect to find all the things you need from an Asian supermarket. It also smells like an Asian market. They have fresh seafood, canned food, fresh produce and Asian snack foods. They also have a good fruits section. However, do check the expiration dates when you’re shopping to make sure you get the unexpired goods. I stop by here every time when I’m on my way back to the city. It can get chaotic sometimes.

This store is extremely discriminatory toward Latino customers. While I was shopping with my mother, an employee stocking drinks literally pushed me out of the way. When we went to pay, the cashier insisted on searching our cart, claiming it was 'store policy.' However, they didn't check the carts of the two Asian customers right next to us. It seems management is perfectly fine with this behavior. I will not be coming back. Is incredibly the disrespect you can feel in this store as a Latin.

All the other past bad reviews I read here are true. You will encounter rude staff and cashiers. I am used to bringing my own ecobags when shopping here. I have encountered a cashier rudely asking to take a look at my ecobags to see if I purposely hide some items to not pay for it, therefore every time I would do grocery there, I would dump my ecobag upside down to let them see im hiding nothing. And another thing, never bring grocery items you have bought from another place like Target. They might accuse you of stealing it from them. One time, I was bringing my toddler on a stroller, and of course I put the some items(which were two milk cartons) which were already paid at the cashier at the bottom of the stroller because not everything fits inside the ecobag i brought. I was exactly at the end of the cashier where you bag your stuff. The staff rudely went up to me to get the receipt thinking as If I stole the two milk cartons. And of course, she was wrong and never apologized. I wish I never needed to come back here for groceries, but it was the only convenient place near me to buy some staple Asian groceries. So be careful and expect rude service

The parking is big at the back of the store. I usually buy some Asians groceries and products here for cooking "choose wisely" Some seafoods, vegetables and fruits are fresh here Some customers will be aggressive if you cut the line The staffs are fine and fast not rude There are some housing posts at the store if you're looking for a house or an apartment to rent

Besides the very rude customer service, this is also a very misleading market. 1. Be careful when they weigh your groceries — I’ve seen them press their hand on the items to increase the weight. 2. Always double-check your receipt. They sometimes add extra items to overcharge you. When you point it out, they won’t admit the mistake; instead, they tell you to go grab the extra item they added and refuse to refund the difference. 3. They also charge a $0.05 bottle deposit on drinks that shouldn’t have one. 4. Be cautious with sale items, as many of them are expired or nearing expiration. Would not recommend shopping here. and no matter where you bring the bottle to return, no one will take it back
