Lotte Plaza Market - Ellicott City

A huge Lotte Market at this location. The store has tremendous produce, fresh meats and seafood, and a huge variety of ethnic items from various cultures. It also has an excellent sushi kiosk - Moolkogi Sushi, that's reasonably priced with super friendly staff. When your recipe calls for an ethnic ingredient, you'll probably find it at Lotte. Downside: There are 4 restaurants in the shopping plaza along with some other businesses. Parking is atrocious!!

Clientele much more fun than at the nearby Hmart! Excellent selection. The homewares and specialty food shops were AMAZING!! Ramie leaf rice cake vendor was where it was at!! They had a bidet shop. I want a barley pillow so bad. Love it!!!

Always double-check prices before paying. I picked up Dukbak hot sauce labeled $5.99 on the shelf, but it rang up as $27.99 at checkout. I mentioned it to the cashier, but she didn’t seem concerned, so I chose not to buy it.

Solid super market. All kinds of Asian foods. Korean, Indian, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine. They have a BBQ Chicken in the food court which is my go to Korean Chicken Wings in the area. Sometimes they run great deals on lobster and also Korean pears as well. They have student discount but it's only for full price items (exclude already discounted items). Good place to get hotpot meats and veggies as well.

This place definitely needs to enhance their food storage. We purchased the moon cake today. The expiration date is in October (late October), but when we opened it, the whole box is full of mold. Originally I thought it was sesame, and almost ate it, until my husband came and stopped me from eating that moon cake. Actually, we had another experience of buying molded food from this place before. That was their handmade kimchi soup. We purchased it and when we reached home, we found the item is molded underneath the lid. * We live very far away and visit this store approximately once per month, so we cannot return the item promptly.

Very well stocked, quick service, helpful and courteous employees however the parking lot is a nightmare. Food court is relatively small but they serve pretty decent Korean food. This supermarket shares the lot with various other small businesses and if you go on a weekend, well good luck to you finding a spot.

This local Asian grocery store is a convenient stop for some of your favorite foreign foods. The prices are very fair, and there are many deals that make this store a better choice for certain items compared to other Asian markets. Besides groceries, you can also pick up food to go at the mini cafeteria within the store. Additionally, the store offers a variety of k-beauty items, apparel, bedding, stationery supplies, and more. The parking situation is quite good, with plenty of spaces available. Another perk is that the shopping center includes numerous Asian food options and boba tea shops. Plus, it's conveniently located across the highway from H-Mart, which is helpful if you need to find something that might be out of stock here. Sadly, the only drawback is the customer service, which could use some improvement.
