Saw this next door across egg happiness. Noticed they had tufo soup! The best Korean tufo in opinion is Seoul soon dubo tufo house in stockton. But there soft tufo combination w/ medium spice got me thinking twice. There just missing there side pickle cucumber that comes with it. We where the first to get here and soup took to long. The interiors and atmosphere is so Korean pop.
Such a wonderful experience here! The food portions are generous and the fried chicken and seafood pancake were sooo yummy! Best KFC I’ve had in the bay thus far
Just your average Korean restaurant, a little bit on the pricy end. We were seated right away and ordered appetizers and the main dishes. The food took a long time to come out, first dish maybe 20 min later. The rest came out another 10-15 min later except for the last fish and an appetizer. When we asked what was taking so long , the server said they had a bunch of online orders all at the same time and apologized. All together the last item and appetizer took like 45-50 min to come out which is too long of a wait for the restaurant when there were only 4 sets of customers in. It's understandable you get busy but shouldn't be ignoring your restaurant customers so you can finish all your online orders. Won't be back here again.
Fantastic experience. Staff recommended a fantastic soup that he recommended adding cheese to. Paired with a surprisingly good Korean beer it was epic. Highly recommend coming here.
Have been meaning to try this place for some time now finally got the chance to try it. Went on a weekday so it was empty so we got seated right away. There was only one lady who was serving and taking orders, etc.. Popcorn chicken - this was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender inside and crispy outside. Really enjoyed it. Pork Bulgogi - it was spicy and delicious the portion size was also very decent, loved it Chicken Katsu - total disappointment. The chicken was not cooked nicely the sauce which they gave on the side for Katsu chicken was disgusting. Nowhere near how a katsu chicken is done. So this dish was a total waste of money for us. LA short ribs - another disappointing dish. The meat was so chewy and it had more bones in it than meat. It was just very bland and did not enjoy it all. Chamisul Fresh -Soju, just your usual nothing special I loved the dishes which they used to serve the food, which made the food look appetizing. There was no need to add cold pasta as a side dish along with the traditional main courses. Overall, it was OK nothing special neither did I find it very authentic. It was more westernized to cater to the taste buds of the people here. They should just stick to the authentic taste, which they didn’t unfortunately.
Kimchi Pancake is great. I would order that again. Kimbab is good as well. However, both of our Soft Tofu Soup, one combination, the other vegetarian, were both really salty. The spice level was good. I had mild while the vegetarian one had no spice. It could be just the time we were there and the saltiness level might be better some other times, but this is my first time there. Also, this is a Korean place with the least amount of side dishes that they give out. It's just 3, and the amount is small for each. I've included pictures.
The food was extremely good and service was really nice. Honestly their fried chicken was one of best I’ve gotten in the Bay, and the prices were good too for the amount of stuff my friends and I got. We did cheese pork katsu, bulgogi rice, and fried chicken split three ways and paid $26 each. So on top of amazing food, it’s definitely good when you want to eat out with friends and have good food with variety at reasonable (arguably low) costs.
