The Fresh Market

I am in absolute shock. I opened a package of pasta purchased from this location and found it infested with weevils. This is completely unacceptable and a serious health risk to customers. Food safety should be the bare minimum, and this experience has completely destroyed my trust in this store. No one should have to worry about pests in sealed food products. I truly hope there is immediate attention to inventory control and quality checks so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

April 2025: We stayed nearby for another cruise and again visited this store. This time we ate a meal in the cafe area and bought groceries to take back to our hotel. This time I noticed the seating upstairs with both indoor and outdoor options. We ate downstairs though and found it handy that a sink was there along with plastic utensils and condiments. I also noticed that one section of the counter was lower to allow for access to those using wheelchairs. The store brand coffee selection is also very good so I brought back more bags of coffee since we do not have a store near us. January 2025: We came to Doral two days before our cruise and got stuck in Doral two extra days after the cruise due to Midwestern snow storms. We stayed at the IHG hotel a block away, so it was a very quick walk. We came to this store so many times for groceries, packaged and fresh snacks, and I brought flavored coffee home since we do not have The Fresh Market in my state anymore. I loved the selection and the store was very clean and organized. I frequently saw people dining in the outside and inside seating areas, but we always took our items to the hotel. We plan to stay at that same hotel for another cruise this year, so I can't wait to come back to this store and try something different.

I decided to try the fresh meal kits to change up our nightly dinners. I purchased the peppercorn steak meal kit and the Chicken Marsala. The peppercorn steak was missing the olive oil and seasoning, the green beans which literally brought like 8 green beans for 2, and no onions as stated on the label and packaging. The Chicken Marsala just brought the chicken, rice and like 8 green beans. No Marsala sauce or seasoning. I wasn't going to write a review, was just never going to return to Fresh Market, but it’s really been bothering me that such a reputable market is is providing such poor customer service and poor service all together. Also, the fact I spent over $40 dollars on these meals and they were incomplete and not enough food for 2 as advertised. I hope to hear from management soon.

This happened last night. Even though I arrived right at closing time, Vanessa was incredibly kind and professional. She helped me find what I needed, assisted me at checkout, and then kindly walked me to the door while she was closing the store. Thank you, it’s clear she truly enjoys what she does.

From the moment I walked in to this location it completely blew me away. I have been a fresh market customer in various cities since 2005 or before. Fresh market is one of favorite places to go every store has a customized way of delivering community favorites always with true classics. This location serves lavish lunch options for on the go tasty meals alternatives,salads and endless choices of prepared foods to stimulate your tastes. Every service member displayed professionalism and friendliness. Angelica my cashier was especially memorable and represented gold standard customer service. Thank you

Never would think to write a review on a grocery store but the employees who work in the area for individually made food are the rudest and laziest. I have been here weekly for over a year and every single time I need to get them to serve any food from the display case they all keep walking by you and I have to wait at least 10 minutes standing there while they ignore and talk to each other. Never ask to help you until you say can you please help and purposely keep ignoring. Today was last straw my 4 year old daughter was asking for macaroni and cheese for at least 10 minutes and the woman walked by us like four times ignored us every time so we left and will never come to fresh market here in Doral ever again.Insane the worst fresh market ever.

I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience at this Fresh Market. The older American cashier, Diane, treated me in a completely unprofessional and discriminatory way. As soon as she saw me, her attitude changed. She ignored me, started chatting with another customer right in front of me, and made me wait for no reason. When she finally rang me up, she threw the receipt at me and looked at me with a very hostile expression that made me feel judged and unwelcome. No customer should ever be treated like this. Very disrespectful behavior
