Despite not being as humongous as Great Wall Supermarket and HMart, the Tri-Ocean on South Federal has many dedicated customers who like the variety and freshness of its seafood, wide selection of Vietnamese products and the intimate feel of a local grocery store. Prices are comparable to its bigger competitors if not better, and it indeed carries more unique Vietnamese staples not seen elsewhere, while the ambience is brighter and more spacious than most other Vietnamese grocery stores in town.

Bright and airy, clean, items are neatly displayed. Aisle visual aid are large and clear. Seafoods are fresh. A better Asian market. Not a huge supermarket.

I honestly wish to give zero star if I can. We work in a restaurant in broomfield and have to buy some blue crabs by cases. I could be a 40 mins drive so I made 2 phone calls to them just to make sure that they do have any blue crabs (The reason why I made 2 phone calls is because they cheated on crabs as well). And they were like they do have blue crabs for both of the phone calls so I drove to them. What is funny is when I go to the seafood section and the seafood manager told me they don’t have any blue crabs while the cashier also the one answered my phone calls before still stick to that they have the blue crabs. So I require she walk me to the seafood section and show me where the blue crabs at. And then she realized that they are out of the blue crabs. Wondering like how hard for her just walk to the seafood section and check out that if they do have whatever the costumers need. Will never come again and do any business with these cheaters again and goodbye!

I know no one has free range standards for a fish market on federal Blvd of all places, the cleanings for one is exactly what you'd expect, but I was disgusted lol see live crabs literally piled on top of eachother and fish in a tank so crowded they could have been dead and just holding eachother down in places. This is a horrible place. Do not buy here

Hands down one of the worst Asian markets I have been to in a long long time! I used to work at a few when I was younger and grew up with many different Asian families so Asian food is a big part of my diet now. I also know a fair amount of many languages when it comes to food and normally have no issues finding what I need in any market. Today was a change for the worse! I asked a young stock clerk where I can find Woodward mushrooms (in perfect Vietnamese). She said she didn’t have it. I keep shopping and I 2 forms of dry wood ears just down from her as well as fresh in the cool area! The place was messy and very very smelly. Most who sell fresh fish and seas food have a bit of smell naturally with the open tanks and such but this was bad! The prices were all messy and not many things were in the correct areas both in the cool section and in dry goods. When I go to check out I was charged wrong 2 times and the clerk played dumb and said that has to be it. I take him and show him the sign for the same brand Kim chi that says half that cost. He showed me it says 30oz on the sign and that I have a 28oz container. I show him how there is no other sign and yet 4 spots that have this same brand and size of Kim chi in the store all without tags for other food in front of them! After I complain a bit he agrees to change the price and I took the other item off as I was over the fight! The parking is horrid in back and the store seems very half way put together. There is 5 more markets a few blocks away that are much better. I just saw it and stopped and regret it.

They were so rude and disrespectful I me and my family asked for a oysters and he said go get them there and we asked oh if there a spoon to grab them and the man said grab it with your hands and there disrespectful and don’t know how to attend there costumer properly. I felt very disrespected and I don’t think I will be going back and the parking is so small and I don’t recommend to go look for another place to go there is probably better.

The guys at the fish counter were hilarious! After I begged, they fileted a fish for me - and made a paper towel rose for me. 😉 good selection of fish, meats, and produce.
