⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Wall Supermarket (GW Mart) I really love this place! I’ve been learning to cook fresh, affordable meals, and Great Wall Supermarket has everything I need. I usually cook Mexican food, but lately I’ve been learning more about Chinese and Asian cuisine — and this store is perfect for that. They always have a huge selection of ingredients, sauces, noodles, fresh produce, and so much more. Everything is well-stocked, the vegetables are always fresh, and the prices are great. It’s the perfect spot for anyone who enjoys cooking and wants authentic Asian ingredients without spending too much. Perfect for any size family on any size budget. Plus, you get the chance to explore foods from a part of the world most of us have never experienced before.

Went to look for purple sugar cane and was pleasantly surprised! I was having a hard time finding it elsewhere and wanted it for a nice reminder of home ❤️ I was even more excited when I found pre-packaged mapo tofu sauce! Definitely one of my favorite dishes that I deeply have missed. I'd been to the h mart in Aurora which had a good selection of Korean food (unsurprisingly). But I can say I'll be coming here more often since it has more of the foods and snacks I'm looking for.

It’s been along time since I have been on this side of town and after a horrible trip to Tri Ocean Market (see review!) I remembered this market isn’t much further. I was surprised to see it changed from the large company POM but GW seems to really be focused on improving the issues I recall POM had. The new layout and operation is wonderful! No stinky smell from the fish tanks is the first thing you notice. It is very well stocked and not crowded with clutter and overstock in the isles like many Asian markets. Produce was very fresh and well stocked and taken care of. Staff was much nicer than the GW in aurora for sure! I was very sad I still spend money (and over charged) at Tri Ocean Market when this market is cleaner and better organized than most King Soopers!!!! I will be back anytime I am near! Thank you for being better than the standard!

This place has some of the best seafood in town—always fresh and well-priced. Their produce section is impressive too, with tons of variety and great quality. It’s my go-to spot for fresh ingredients and Asian groceries. Clean, organized, and friendly staff. Love shopping here!

A great Asian supermarket with honestly a crap ton of stuff with it’s meat section, bread section, seafood section, fruit section, canned foods section, snacks & sweets section and way more varying from Japanese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and most of all, Chinese products. All the staff seem to be either Hispanic or Chinese too. There was so much product it took me a while to find the specific kind of corn starch I wanted.

May 2023 Upping from 4 to 5- 🌟 The transition from the former Pacific Ocean definitely have been for the better. The varieties of items from other countries have grown. As an example, Zihaiguo is now available. The fresh seafood are 👍 and so are the different meat selection/varieties. Even the fresh produce is 👍! The transformation is still continuing even now with certain areas being redone making the floor area more bright/light/airy. Looking forward to more positive changes. 👍 Original Review : _______________ Used to be Pacific Ocean Market and, I am guessing, under new management. Have only been back there twice since the change and have to admit, there are quite a lot of goods missing. Still, this is understandable, with new management taking stock of inventories. I hope that given a few more months, inventories that we, shoppers, have been going there for, will be back. Maybe, even better and MORE offerings. As of now, I did miss the better selection of meat cuts. From the pork belly cuts to the different beef thin-shaved cuts in containers. One good thing I noticed were the more friendlier cashiers vs some former cashiers when it was still run by POM. I love the ready to purchase food from that section on the right as soon as you enter the store but, have refrained from it a long time ago as the main lady that serves there is rude and lacks even the basics of customer service. Unfortunately, when I last visited GW, she was still there so I guess, I just have to give up on that one. Otherwise, hoping that everything comes back even better after some "takeover" pains.

No shade on the long-running Ocean Pacific market that provided east asian groceries to the Denver area for decades but GWS is clearly an upgrade in terms of stocking many more products and making the space brighter and cleaner. Overall you can find a good selection of Chinese products, with lesser extent if Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, and Filipino goods. The novelty items are pricey as usual, but the produce section has great variety. Some fruits and veggies are visibly past ripe though, so not all great. The side shop for home goods is a nice option, much smaller than the Aurora location, but good for picking up all kinds of things that might be hard to find elsewhere.
