Manila Oriental Market

This is an excellent asian market. Not very Filipino though but back in the 80s 90s this area 2as definitely a little Manila. I remember coming to this center to buy car parts and eat Filipino treats. Today, this market rules! I've never seen such a variety of hot sauce. The produce is decent but the meats are excellent.

This is for the Filipino restaurant inside Manila Oriental called, Pinoy Handaan Express. It’s a quick service Filipino restaurant serving silogs and lechon daily. I think it’s pretty good and prices are reasonable.

Parking is always crowded in this parking strip. But be patient as it gets busy due to Classic Bowlinh center has birthday parties and other retailers sharing this parking lot. Manila oriental Market busy at this time. I was shopping at 2pm in the afternoon just to pick fresh prduce and fruits. Selection is pretty decent prices does fluctuate each time I buy just basics for what I need for the week. They have nice potted 🪴 plants. Lucky bamboo, money tree plants other floral potted plants in beautiful colorful ceramic pots, different sizes. It makes a good gift if your planning on going to a dinner party for friends or relatives behind this area was the wine selection, impressed with so many varieties of red and white wine Price is decent they also carry alcohol spirits. Good to know they have it all. And to top it off you can pick up filpino food they have a good take out menu along with filpino desserts and bread it use to be a Chinese food take but now it's filipino food rest take out or order in advance if planning for larger sizes. They have a jewelry store in the front of the store. Also they have lottery tickets and and vending machine that sells the Scratchers at side entrance. located in the store at customer service area.. good to know if im back in the area again. In a hurry no photos was taken, next time when I go again.

Another great Asian market with a huge meat and seafood selection, including live lobsters. Great produce, and they also have hot prepared foods to go.

I've visited this place a couple of times now because it's walking distance from my house. For being in a prime location this market needs an overhaul regarding quality and freshness of perishable items like fruits and vegetables and customer service. For example I came in for parsley and I asked a lady where they were and she told me they were sold out. That wasn't true , and i ended up finding it after going through the aisles. I only come here if I forgot something or need something small but if it's first time coming here don't except much.

easily one of my favorite grocery stores in the Bay area. A great place for produce especially if you are going to be making soups or smoothies. Great selection of spices and noodles from all over the world. Great prices compared to most other places. I have seen people that work at Safeway or Lucky's shop and they told me that even with her employee discount this is much more affordable.

FILTHY i saw a worker spit on the floor where they sell the fish. Also saw a fish jump out the bucket onto the floor. same floor the guy spit on. disgusting !
