Literally came is last night around 10pm and bought some stuff to make sandwiches. Had two last night. Went to make one just now and noticed all this mold on the meat…doesn’t expire until next month…I rarely shop here and will definitely not buy nothing but bottled water here. Side note, the self check out registers are a complete mess. I needed assistance twice during check out. Didn’t mean to bother the employee who was on their phone and seemed agitated that she actually had to get up and do some work.

I do not write many reviews and if i do is not just for negative experiences. But I feel the representative deserves her credit. I had an issue with my giant rewards and the customer service Representative (Alera I think is her name)was very helpful, patient and went the extra mile to make sure i didnt have any other issues. She explain and even help me set my rewards card up on my app. This, by definition, is what a customer service representative is supposed to be or should aim to be. Many thanks to her. I hope the store manager sees this and add her to a supervisor or manager team. 👌🏽👏🏽👏🏽

This review is for the DELI manager ONLY !!! I've been coming to Giant since I moved to VA 4yrs now. This used to be our # 1 place to go until our few encounters with the Deli manager. She's her attitude is beyond DISGUSTING she RUDE and has POOR customer service. I'am shocked she even became manager and is the Face of Deli I know im not the only person who's complained about her. I came in yesterday 11/25/25 I asked her for help and she didn't even Stop she walked past and yelled "I dont know" as she was leaving the isle, didnt even try to assist me , she CAN'T say she was going to the bathroom because she was walking in the direction of dairy. I normally just leave & not complain but I definitely went to customer service and spoke with the front end manager who's ALWAYS pleasant kind to my family and myself when we're there. Shes even spoken to MULTIPLE staff unkind infront of guest thats definitely not ok thats displaying hostile environment not just to staff but guest. Someone definitely needs to speak with her and NOT sweep it under the rug as another unsatisfied customer.

What is going on with the meats here lately?! In the past week, I have had to return/throw away Perdue chicken cutlets, giant brand turkey wings, steaks and ribs. I went tonight and the amount of visibly bad meat is disgusting, swollen packaging, discolored red meats and ground beef. The ones I bought were not near expiration or clearance items. Horrible! Update - one week later. The manager, Ronnie reached out and gave me a gift card for the money lost due to all the poor visits and meat we had purchased. He was very nice and understanding, thanks again Ronnie!!

It's a Giant grocery store. Produce selection is usually decent. Meat selection is so-so. Prices are not bad but it can definitely get busy during the evenings, especially just after work.

Rudest staff (specially higher position staff manager/supervisor)…….horrible service. they will not help you to find out stuff instead they will give you attitude and yelling at you……. They will make you fell feel like you are at the store, illegally!?? 🙄
