Hy-Vee Grocery Store

I have no idea what has happened to this stores food court. Especially the fried chicken meals. Stopped in bought a 3 piece chicken dinner with 2 extra legs mashed potatoes/gravy & corn. Got home to eat it and literally threw the meal away $19.+change. Chicken was fried out corn was old. Maybe someone at this store will look into what happened here. I will never be back to eat chicken here . I received a phone call the manager. He was understanding. Offered to refund my money. So I will give them another try. Because they have good chicken when it is good!

Very disappointing! This is what I got for my $3 meal what is suppose to be chicken but merely just vegetables and my child’s plate is just basically vegetables! Should have went to one of the Omaha locations because they would never!

I ordered fried chicken for a work potluck. We are in Omaha; however, this Hy-Vee was closer to work than one on this side of the river. I was disappointed to find out chicken was 50 cents more per piece than here, but decided to 'eat' the difference for driving distance. I was quoted $45 on the phone and when I saw the receipt the person who picked it up brought back, was quite upset as I was charged $64.18. I did call and was told the $45 should have been $48 and they would put $12 back on my card. After that, I was VERY disappointed in the chicken. I have had chicken from Hy-Vee before and it was delicious. This was overcooked, way too crispy to easily cut through and we had quite a few tiny wings instead of legs in the pan with breasts. At $2 a piece, the two bites you got was not worth it. I may add that no one had a second piece or would take any home. I definitely would not recommend buying the fried chicken at this Hy-Vee.

I worked with Jen at the customer service desk. Jen went the extra mile for me and I could tell she cared. She listened and explained the best plan of action for my circumstance and I appreciate the time she spent with me.

I usually shop at this store and on nice days I Walk to the store when I need a few things there bathroom is usually clean when I need to use it the workers are nice when I need help to find something ❤️.

They actually bag your groceries and, when you ask, they will have someone load your car for you. I am disabled and that feature alone is wonderful. They also have an eatery inside. Wow!
