Hyun Dai Oriental Grocery

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 We visited Hyun Dai Oriental Grocery while looking for a true Korean grocery store, and this place absolutely delivered. It may not be very large, but it doesn’t need to be—it has everything we were looking for and more. One of the highlights was the freshly prepared food: gimbap, sweet potatoes, corn, green onion pancakes, and more. Their prepared banchan selection is incredible—I wanted to buy a little of everything. I also picked up a large jar of their kimchi after seeing other reviews mention how good it was, and it did not disappoint. The store really reminded me of the small neighborhood markets I visited in South Korea. Everything was well organized, authentic, and clearly chosen with care. I was very happy with both the selection and the quality of the products. The Gimbap and pancake was wonderful! We will definitely be back. Gamsahamnida! I failed to get pictures because I was so excited to see products that I have not been able to find for many years. Will have to get pictures next time I go.

I love this little place, if you like Asian snacks or other exotic snacks I definitely recommend trying this place out, it does have different variety and it also has the viral peach, mango and lemon ice cream that I have seen on TikTok, I recommend the brown sugar Boba milk tea I am obsessed with that flavor lol

Great selection! It smells good in this store. Very nice lady helped us in the store. Good prices too! I love this Korean store. I can't wait to go back! We just bought so many delicious snacks and I see so many things I am coming back for when I have my hotpot party!

We went to try the Kimchi that I hear so many good things about. The kimchi was very good. We were able to find everything that we were looking for, plus a few other items. The staff was very friendly, and helpful.

Friendly owner very helpful I have a one suggestions please put the prices sticker on every items..(previous owner had price sticker on the items or shelves)when I visited while ago before buying daifuku I asked young man for the price he said $1.99..(no price sticker on the items) then I bought daifuku recently I thought I’m paying $1.99 instead husband charge me $2.99 why??

Our family has been going here since 1985 and we love it. Hyundai has so many awesome products including home made Korean food items. It is located close to Fort Jackson so all you soldiers who served in Korea can easily head over and get your Korean food fix. There is even a Korean restaurant right next door that serves authentic Korean dishes.

Very clean store with a lot of variety. The baked goods were great. The staff was helpful and very friendly. I will be shopping here more.
