I only went to the grocery shop. Nice medium Asian grocery store with a pretty good variety of stuff. They’ve got seasonings and sauces from Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Vietnamese brands, and a ton of Korean instant noodles. They have most of what you’d expect from an Asian market. The frozen food section has a good mix, and I saw some fresh seafood and fish too (I haven’t tried them yet). The veggies looked okay. Prices are about average compared to other Asian stores—some things are cheaper, but a few, like mushrooms, are a bit more expensive. The store is fairly clean, but some areas could be a little tidier. There’s plenty of parking. They also have a small bakery and ready-to-eat food section. I saw they’re selling plants right now—like long bean sprouts in tiny pots. Kinda cute. Overall, a solid place if you’re looking for Asian groceries
The Asian produce is excellent. I seem to almost always find what I need here and shop here often. The carrots were really good. Once they were out of green onions and told me they would have them the next day and they sure did! I appreciate that they have marked down produce sometimes and have been pleased with my selections. Smaller selection than other stores in the area but the location is convenient and the shopping experience is relaxed.
We came in for the Lunar New Year celebration. Very welcoming place! My son picked up a dragon from one of the shops. *****updated: went into the herbal Chinese pharmacy and got a pain relieving tea and other herbs. I told the lady I would post because she doesn’t have website. Come check her out!
I went there for wonderful authentic best ever Korean Dolsot Bi Bim Bap. So good. It came with a soup. The restaurant, Mie ga, is upstairs. And I love that Asians love to eat there too. Great service. Downstairs is silk embroidery and jade carvings. The Chinese supermarket has fresh blue crabs and assorted fresh produce as well as assorted dried goods. The small, fresh baked goods are at the back.
Sooooooo....first off...just the fact that this place exists is 5 stars to me. Are the bathrooms perfect? No. Is everything spic and span? No. But these are mom and pop type businesses that are just trying to make a living. The variety in all of the stores is awesome and I appreciate that. I saw some reviews complaining of the smell from the seafood area in the food store and all I could think of was...."seriously, go to Kroger. Their seafood department smells worse." I only have pictures from the grocery store but I really love this place. The variety will keep me coming back. The people were also very friendly.
Not as much fresh meat as you would expect but my main problem is the micro aggression from the Asian male manager during my trip. I was the only black woman there. Minding my business and shopping carefully for ingredients for my IBS. Just as I'm getting ready to check out, cart full, he appears and asks me and no one else do I need help with anything. It's 2025 in a prodominately black city. Stop doing this! Clearly I'm fine. Go ask the white woman who was also wondering around. I won't be back.
Veggies didn't look fresh. Some of them had mold growing on them. The so called fresh bread tasted really bad and stale. Had to throw them all away. Older lady in the back coughing all of the open foods. Just a few blocks away has another asian market that's way better.
