Sun Wing Supermarket

My friend and I arrived in Chicago at 8 AM, and this supermarket was already open. We browsed around, and the supermarket looked a bit disorganized, but it had a wide variety of products. I didn't buy any meat. I bought several bags of dried goods, but many of them didn't have expiration dates marked, and some were expired or about to expire. I strongly advise anyone shopping at this store to pay close attention to the production and expiration dates. I do not recommend this store.

This supermarket is tucked away from Chinatown but not too far. It’s very clean and offering freshly roasted meat to frozen foods and fresh vegetables along with Chinese medicine.

Produce and some frozen foods are incredibly cheap here, but not the pre-packaged non-refrigerated items in a separate area. I have been to 88, HK market, and others. The parking lot can be somewhat confusing when it's full, and checkout lines tend to form in waves. The staff there are very attentive to the customers, and I was able to use Google Wallet from my phone to checkout.

This is my new place for quick Chicken, duck, and roasted pork belly!!! I used to go to starlight market, but they closed and joined Sun Wing. The food is delicious. Let's go. They have other hot foods too! I'll have to explore other hot foods and let you know.

This warehouse converted into an Asian grocery store. Prices varies, some a bit pricey, some on sale and some are clearance items. They offer free parking. Lot not too big. There’s also street parking right in front. Well stocked for most items. Cleanliness is good.

The guy at the front by the chicken and char siu is very rude. He is the owner, and when I said good morning to him, he just stared and didnt respond. Diu le lo mo pook guy

This is definitely a true mom pop Chinese market... they have everything even a fresh meat and produce area.. also lots of candy, Ramen , juice and so much more...
