I tell everyone about this place. I’ve been going for years and the owners changed but the quality and the staff are still amazing!!! If I need help they are always willing to help me I typically shop alone and buy bulk for my family and for 2 other families they are quick and efficient!!! They have a variety of staple ingredients for Hispanic dishes, Asian dishes, and European dishes. From spices to vegs it’s a great quick place to grab fresh ingredients. They receive shipment and are always rotating them out so they last a long time!

Our first time to visit this unique and very popular for it's size grocery shopping store that has exotic produce, a large variety of rice and beans, and of course all the spices you can think of. My wife fixed some awesome stir-fry as soon as we got home with all the goodies she bought!

As a Slavic person, I primarily come here for beets- they are extremely affordable here. I love them. They also have other things for very cheap here like watermelons were $2 each and they were perfect- I got many and shared with my family and neighbors. The customer service is fine. Plenty of parking. No complaints.

This place is absolutely magical to the average Tennessean grocery shopper who hasn’t witnessed the beauty of exotic produce. Fresh. Vibrant. Amazing. And at prices that are pretty low. The employees and manager are gracious, patient, cordial, and friendly. The manager had offered us samples of his delicious red bananas and my fiancée had fallen in love with their dessert-like quality. He was very helpful in letting us know what vegetables we were looking at as most were beautiful mysteries to us. We will be coming here regularly now and definitely, definitely recommend!

Great little store. So much flavor possibility. You open the door and the smells of an Indian bazaar come blaring past you and it is all good. The store can be a little disorganized but the people here are usually willing to help you find what you're looking for. Go when you have enough time to look around. If you're new to the cuisine, find a thing you want to try and ask for help getting the ingredients. Otherwise, just bring a big shopping bag.

First, it seems some of the reviewers are confusing the grocery shop with the Indian restaurant next to it. India Bazar is the grocery shop, and that is what I am reviewing. I have been shopping in this place for many years, since the owner only had half of the current shop. I loved the place and had lots of respect to the hardworking manager. The produce was always fresh and prices were cheaper than other places. I had no problems whatsoever, until just recently. Like two previous reviewers, I had bought some vegetables from the store and when I went back home, I found they were bad. Apparently they were out for a long time and were not fresh. When I went back to the shop, the staff (which was very rude) asked if I had the receipt, I said I did. I continued shopping and few minutes later he came and told me that he couldn't refund me the money. I asked to speak to the manager, who told me that it's impossible for their vegetables to go bad because they are continuously stocking them. I went to the pin and picked some vegetables that were bad. He refused to talk to me after that and was also extremely rude. It's unfortunate that business owners think that losing a customer or two would not affect their business. I won't be shopping there any more and I advice if you do, then make sure you check your grocery well before you pay for it.

Truly an amazing place with a great variety of produce selection. starfruit, kumquat, purple potatoes, coconuts, organic ginger, fresh Aloe, baby banana, a variety of peppers, basil and more. If you are looking for black salt, fenugreek seed (mehti), turkish figs, specialty flours of all kinds and amazing indian spices then this is your place. They also have frozen items, indian snack packs and imported cookies. The staff are also very helpful!
