When I originally moved to North Carolina I was in Fayetteville, so finding Asian stores was so difficult. It made it difficult to find ingredients for certain dishes. Now that I’m in charlotte, I was so happy to see the selection here and that there was another Asian market not too far away I’ll be excited to look into as well. I liked the variety it had but also the Filipino selection with sauces, etc. I tried to take photos and videos of what I could but I didn’t have the time to go to each aisle. When I do I’ll add more photos, but if you’re like me you’re seeing the few posted and may not want to waste your time going there just not to find the item you’re looking for — especially since it’s off independence. But I think it’ll definitely be one of my better choices for grocery shopping now! I just wish there were more Filipino stores out here.
Good for fresh fruits, veggies and meats. I like to buy fresh herbs like rosemary, basil, bay leaf and mint here because I get more for my money. I've also found black currant tea good for inflammation not found at my usual grocers and just recently apricot juice which is delish❣️
Had lot of items in stock. Great Mexican store. Tried Tous les Jours Tiramisu...First Tiramisu so don't know exact taste but coffee powder dust on the top followed by whipped foam cream and chocolate...good one to try. Was 9$. The coffee powder was too much which went to my nostrils,, was getting cough just like inhaled dust
It's nice to have a place where we can get Korean groceries so far from the land of the morning calm. We would love to see kimbap at the food court and Korean some more Korean beverages (apple juice is what my son wants) as we can't find them online. Hoping another opens further north!
An excellent Asian grocery store. If you're looking for any asian ingredients, snacks, drinks, etc, this is the store to visit. You will find a wide range of kitchenware products. The restaurants inside seem to be great. We only tried one, as we came here 1 hour before the store closed. The aisles are clean, and products are well organized and easy to read the products and prices. Parking is shared with other businesses, and it is easy to find a parking space. There is an entrance only and exit only for this store.
I love the variety. It was like getting excited to go to the mall! Granted, this was only my 2nd visit & it noticeably smelled of seafood. There were exotic fruits & vegetables, seasonings, snacks, cookware, & utensils like chopsticks. They except NFC as payment & both times we went no long lines.
I’ve been looking for an international/European market in the Charlotte area for a while, and thought I’d check this out. Once I stepped inside, the smell/stench, of fish hit me instantly. Right away I noticed that this was mainly a store with a heavy Chinese/Korean influence, which I’m not opposed to. As I start walking around, every so often, I would get a whiff of spoiled meat-I was so grossed out, but I wanted to give it a chance, and at least see what their "European" food aisle had. It was basically just Eastern European items-a couple of old, expired snack foods from Germany, but nothing from any other country. There were Hispanic, Mediterranean, and Middle East aisles which seemed ok. I also browsed the produce section, which is huge, and decided to buy a few red beets, which were gigantic, fresh, and really cheap-like $1/piece. I’d say, if you can get past the fishy, spoiled meat smell, and you’re looking for specific things, it’s probably an ok store, but don’t expect any Western European snacks, chocolate, candy, or coffee. I honestly don’t think this store is hurting financially, but they’re definitely keeping me away, with that stench. Other than that, nothing really piqued my interest.
