The Island at Carlsbad

We ate at the Argentina restaraunt because quite frankly the seafood sandwich looked so good on the TV monitor with the big shrimp popping out of the bread. In reality, the shrimp were taken from Marechun noodle containers and I was beyond disappointed with the taste in general.

This is a great spot for groups that have a hard time agreeing on what to eat. There’s a wide variety of cuisines to choose from, which makes it super convenient. One downside—it can get pretty hot during lunch hours since most of the seating is outdoors. A few restaurants offer indoor seating, but it’s a bit of a gamble depending on where you order from. So far, my friends and I have tried the Cuban, Indian, and pizza spots. The samosas at the Indian place are a must-try, and the pizzas are fresh and reasonably priced. That said, this isn’t really a tourist destination—there’s not much else to do in the area. It’s mostly surrounded by office buildings, so it’s better suited for people working nearby who want a quick and tasty lunch option.

Nice little food court across the street from my work. Nice to walk across the street and get some fresh air. Good selection and variety of places to eat. They even offer heaters and covers for outdoor seating when the weather is not too good.

This is a nice, refreshing spot for dining, set up in a marketplace style. There are several grab-and-go restaurants onsite. I've tried four of them so far, and each provided great service. The shaded outdoor seating area is simple but comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy your meals while overlooking the fountain.

Great for lunch the atmosphere is relaxing And true to the name because there's nothing else for miles.

Great place to have lunch at. There are plenty of options for all foodie types. The scenery is amazing, the people are nice and the weather is better than where I'm from!!! Enjoy yourself here!!!
