Phuthai Grocery Store

Love this place. I come here for their fresh Asian greens to use in soups and stir fries, and all sorts of other shelf-stable flavor staples. TBH I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh the greens are - I’ve been burned from other corner stores where every week was a gamble, but Phuthai consistently has quality produce. Really convenient for people living in the West Side or Allentown areas who don’t want to drive all the way out to Asia Food Market.

Variety of Asian food available, including fresh food. Spicy raman noodles and strawberry drinks were the proffered choice.

This is my favorite place for all things Asian. The selection is fantastic, and the lady who works here is always nice and respectful. She makes the shopping experience even better with her friendly and helpful attitude. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality Asian products!

You walk in and it smells incredible, like the fresh herbs and good quality vegetables. The wife and I have always loved Thai food, and now we can experiment cooking with seasonal veggies and new ingredients I've never heard of before. You leave with a crate of food for $30. How can you beat that?

Very friendly people. If you cannot find something they will take you right to it, and if you aren't sure you have the right thing they will help you with that. Very diverse selection of produce, and reasonably priced. I will definitely be going there again!

Basic selection of rice/noodles & basic asian/Carribbean/African cooking staples. Affordable 25lb bags of rice too. There is a small-medium size selection of frozen foodstuff items, like dumplings, fish & meats. Bags of bok choy & other greens are in the refrigerator section. There are veggies & yams/root vegetables-- not the best cuts & pieces all the time though. In the summer you can purchase avocados & fruits (durian & lychee). Small snack section as well for treats! Also a few little personal care items, i.e. tiger balm. Not a big location by any means, but it will do for basics. Friendly owners too.

So glad to have such a large selection of fresh, frozen, and dried Asian supplies close by.
