Not going to miss this place once they are closed in June. Overrated, and poor customer service. Experieniced racist behavior toward their minority customers from their cashiers several times.

This is a great little local market. It is very convenient with most of the options you'll be needing. Produce section is very clean with the freshest of produce. There is a salad bar and hot food/deli section that looks and smells great. Prices can be a little higher but paying for the convenience is worth the extra pennies.

Dear foodies: Your price gauging is insane and this is why your chain has lost so much clientele. I always knew foodies was on the expensive side since the beginning of time. But things have gotten out of hand throughout recent years. I went to buy one of the few affordable hot bar meals they sell, egg sandwich bagels. For the longest they cost 4.99. To my surprise a few days ago I notice they now cost 7.99$ I inspect the product and nothing has changed at all. When I ask one of the employees they say that the 2$ price increase is due to egg prices being up. Now I’m not sure if she made this up, but if that’s a directive from the chain owner/management then that’s pretty foul considering that egg prices have gone up for some time now, and that increasing the price of an egg sandwich by 2$ for a sandwich that has about one single egg worth of serving is borderline price gauging. That’s a pretty good profit margin they’re making. For 1$ more dollar I could get an entire carton of eggs and make 10 of these sandwiches. The point here isn’t necessarily about a measly egg sandwich, it’s about the greed of a lot of local food chains. This is inexcusable and one of the many examples I can use. You know it’s bad when what used to be labeled as "Whole Paycheck" aka (Wholefoods) has cheaper options by a long shot, then the local chains complain when nobody’s supporting them. Foodies, your greed for generic products I can find at Wholefoods or Walmart for 6 times less of the cost will be your demise. You are NOT Erewhon.

used to be better on pricing, now it is way overpriced. 1.5lbs of chicken came out to $24, I understand city pricing, but $16/lb for chicken is outrageous. The cashiers and staff are not friendly at all either.

Great food , prices unfortunately are very expensive on certain areas the meat and chicken, it's a great place to shop in a pinch but unfortunately not a day to day market

Every time I come here prices listed for the producer always incorrect. Everything's always higher than what it's actually marked. Staff members are able to correct the price as listed for food. It's very irritating to try to buy something and then told that it's actually a different price than what is listed. produce is very expensive at this store due to the fact that it's located a convenient location in the very expensive part of boston. But I do expect prices to be accurate

Expensive but a convenient location and produce is good. The biggest issue is that every time I buy bread from them, it goes moldy 2-3 days after and long before their sell-by date. Edit: After years of going here when I’m desperate, lowering to two starts. Probably 25% of the time I go, one of the items I want to purchase is already expired. I don’t understand why it is acceptable for a grocery store to consistently sell expired products.
