C-Mart Supermarket

Probably the largest Asian Market in center of Boston. Very impressive selection presented in a "wet market" type of setting. You will definitely find all the essentials for an Asian kitchen. Maybe not a personal favourite, but will certainly be a choice because of its convenient in-town location.

Their service attitude is extremely poor. Once, when we went shopping there together, we couldn’t find a parking space in the parking lot, and the space was very narrow. We tried hard to adjust the car and were preparing to leave. At that moment, a man—possibly a parking lot staff member—appeared. He was somewhat elderly, but he threatened us, verbally abused us, and became very angry. He rudely rushed us to leave as quickly as possible and was extremely impolite and unfriendly. On another occasion, there was a female cashier at the front desk whose attitude was also very arrogant and rude. They all seemed very unhappy.

Sat and could not get out of their parking lot for 15+ minutes on the morning of Friday, Jan 23, 2026. A white van full of seniors but without a driver was allowed to park on the exist lane completely blocking the way out. A dozen of cars were stuck behind the van. No car could move in or out. The parking lot was paralyzed. Tried to locate the drive or a store manager but none available. The store needs find a way to manage the parking lot and ensure traffic safety.

Quite comprehensive super market. The living fish is definitely a plus for me. Good variety of vegetables, premade Asian food,snacks,dry goods and spices. And it has free 2 hours parking on site!

Well let’s not judging the cleanness or the attitudes of the cashiers. It’s Chinese market, we came here for the groceries that we don’t get from Whole Foods or Costco. They carry enough options for seafood, which is a huge plus. Vegetables are fresh. Meats are ok. Need more Asian snacks though.

I have been shopping here for many years. Same convenience, good collection of Chinese groceries, vegetables, fresh fish, seafood, meat, etc. , the same mess and crowds and the same hardworking people. They also make extra parking lot available during weekends right next to the main parking lot and it is always convenient to park and shop there.

Still the best Chinese grocery store in Boston, always has great produce, and a huge selection of teas. I do not lie the whole range of snacks is always my weakness. Checkout and service has always been great. Not to mention having your own customer park lot in the city always makes going a breeze.
