Magat Asian Grocery & Deli

Decent array of Filipino items and fresh produce. The man who helped me check out was really nice and offered to cut the ends of the long beans for me. Seems like a great mom and pop store - simple and small with helpful staff.

Love that is so close to my place. Small store but got enough goodies and good cooking Fil. Foods. The owner are very friendly. Sure Ill come back again.

People were extremely friendly and very helpful. I'm new to the area so they were extremely helpful in giving me directions and answering my questions. Can't wait to come back when I have a place of my own so I can buy some of their fish it looks sooo good!!!!

5.99 for Datu Puti Soy sauce (plastic bottle). Over priced!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I found siopao (sho-pow I think), which is essentially the Filipino way of saying Chinese siubao (shuh-bow) - pork buns! Yes, in Bakersfield, I know right?! She also had what could be best described as banana fried spring rolls, a sweet and tasty dessert that is lightly crispy. Also, fried mochi balls that are lightly crispy and sweet. There was also Jubes, basically coconut cubes in flavored juice that are chewy / gummy almost like boba / tapioca pearls. Plenty of other Filipino dishes / treats / snacks to choose from.

I love the food especially the lechon kawali, dinuguan, kare kare and crispy pata! The owners themselves are very friendly and accomodating! Filipino food to remember what you"ve been missing! Perfect for all occasions too! Definitely the place to satisfy your cravings of capampangan dishes and many more! A must try for everyones taste buds! 🙂

The BEST dinuguan in the country. Just like the one they sell at the palengke in Pampangga. Manyaman!!!!
