H Mart Austin

I recently visited H Mart, and I was genuinely impressed. The quality—especially in the seafood and steak section—is outstanding; there is a variety of fish and Kobe beef. From fresh sushi to ingredients for Korean, Chinese, Indian, and American cooking, it feels like a global food destination all in one place. The produce section is exceptional, and the mushroom selection alone is something I’ve never seen anywhere else—truly impressive. The food court deserves a special mention. It’s well-organized and vibrant and offers better options than many standalone locations. If you live in Austin, this is absolutely worth a visit—even if just for the experience. High quality, international variety, and a unique atmosphere all under one roof. Highly recommended.

I had a very bad experience there...very busy..tiny areas between the shelves and hard to even move...and the worst is the fish bought there!! before I got it it seems clean and fresh, but when I get home it was just horrible and smells very bad..like rotten, and becoming like a paste when I tried to clean it..with a cold water.. and I am sure it was on their shelves..of fridge for days if not weeks!!! It doesn't seem healthy and honnest to sell something very bad like that..this could be the source of a huge gastro-enteritis or worse..they should throw the stuff that is expiring and not safe to sell! Also the last time I was there I got some salmon steaks..but their weight is incorrect when I checked with a kitchen scale at home..just like a scam!! I took a lot of pictures and I am trying to attache them here..as I can. They really need to look into these things...their scales..prices..(I urge people to verify the weight and let the managers there know if there is an issue)..and the quality of their seafoods too, and if it's expired throw it..just throw it..that's it! You could be liable for causing a huge health issues for your customers!!!This is just irresponsible!

H Mart is a really fun and unique experience that the whole family can enjoy! We have been several times and always like checking out all the different Asian snacks that you can't find anywhere else besides specialty shops. H Mart has a wide variety of products on their grocery side, and several restaurants to choose from on their market side. There are lots of fun things for kids, like claw machines, kid shopping carts and a play area. My girls love checking out all of the Hello Kitty products! The store is always busy and sometimes it can be hard to find parking. The aisles are often filled with employees restocking the shelves, and sometimes there are boxes blocking the path. I do think the checkers could be a little more social. On this last visit ours did not say a single word to us the whole transaction. She scanned our items, bagged them, took the money, and handed us the bag without a single word. It was a bit awkward. Other then that, it's a fun place to visit and find special foods!

My favorite place to shop for rice cake cookies fresh veggies, sweet potato and sit enjoy a corn dog or a nutritious hot plate with steamed rice and veggies on top yummy at the fresh food cooked market and so many delicious desserts to choose from.

Great place to get Korean and Japanese food. The cost is a little high and its crowded. But five you the feeling of being in Tokyo or Seoul without leaving Austin. On one side is a busy cafeteria and the other is for shopping. There is a yummy bakery inside. But if you leave and go around the side of the building. You find another Asia bakery. Lots to do and buy in this location.

Was a great experience. The place was extremely clean and the selection was amazing. All employees that we interacted with were helpful and kind.

Omg amazing it's a Go for me any time I need anything...this is the best to go for it..they even have food court n some games area 🥰🥰
