BeNice

I was concerned by the lack of proactive security at this location [February 21] I observed a person walking through the aisles with a long knife visible in their waistband. The security guard did not seem to notice or take action. As a result, I did not feel safe shopping here and left early. Management needs to ensure guards are vigilant.

The employees are wonderful. Their Wyman's frozen blueberries, on the bottom, located under the others, are the best. In the other stores, frozen blueberries are sour. I love their frozen pizza. Their cut up fruit is superior to other stores. It tastes better. I go out of my way to buy those 3 items. At Mother's Day their flowers were prettier with more variety than other stores. I shop at all the grocery stores in east asheville so I am only comparing Whole Foods to those stores.

Love the store itself — especially the produce—but the self-checkout person has on enough perfume to drown a cat and now I have a migraine. Whole Foods is usually good about scent-free employees. I will do my best to avoid this person on future visits but if it proves difficult, I will have to drive down to Arden.

Great location, near plenty of other convenient shopping spots. Not the world's largest Whole Foods, but amply stocked, with incredibly friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable staff. Groceries, Bakery, Seafood, HomeGoods, beer & wine. Lovely tinned fish section offering higher-end options at quite reasonable prices. They offer in-store pickup for online orders. Ample handicap parking, entrance accessibility, & wide aisles. Gendered washrooms.

My first time at this location because of their late hours. Much appreciated! We normally shop at the Hendersonville Rd store but they close early. We shopped this store at 9:30 pm. There weren’t many shoppers, so I could take my time and look around. Both store layouts are different. The size of this store seems to offer better presentation. There even seemed to be a greater selection of food choices. I loved the Gluten Free Bread section! Even the quantity of items offered was greater. I enjoy Pomegranates and this store had two sections for conventional and another for organic. Hendersonville Rd never has this many. I wish this store was closer to home; I would be a regular! I was really impressed by it.

I only come here for things I can't get other places. Constantly being in the way of, or have workers be in my way, while trying to fulfill all the online orders is insane. They had almost no respect for other shoppers. Happy for the deal on a party pack but not sure if it was worth my experience going there

Nice but of course pricey. Fortunately for them there are enough wealthy folks in AVL to keep them afloat. I go there like once every couple of years at most. I prefer I guess, then Publix
