Wing Hop Fung

Very disappointed with my purchase at Wing Hop Fung. About three weeks ago, I spent over $700 on "wild ginseng" and over $800 on bird’s nest. The ginseng jar was less than half full (see photo), yet it was sold as a premium, discounted item. The quantity was extremely small for the price, and the quality did not match the cost at all—the texture was rough and not pleasant to consume. More recently, when buying tea, the staff had a bad attitude. The store usually advertises 20% off, but I was told there was no discount that day unless I bought more than 3 pounds, and even then it was only 10% off. At $149.99 per pound, that’s unreasonable for an individual buyer. Pricing and promotions feel inconsistent and misleading. I recommend being very cautious and comparing elsewhere before buying. photo attached: Less than half a small jar of "wild ginseng" for $760 after a 30% discount. Very poor value for money.

⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ Their free membership is not free, it was misrepresented by the cashier. I bought $12.35 across 2 types of tea and was charged $13.35, under the descriptor ‘grocery’. I will be disputing this amount with the FTC & my bank.

I am a fan of Wing Hop Fung. I come to this store every time when I'm in Los Angeles for the herbs ingredients, and teas they have in the store. I trusted their reputation. They are excellent in quality and customer service. I also like to check out the teapots and the Feng Shui decorations they have on the sales floor. I really enjoyed my visit to Wing Hop Fung every time.

The store is located inside the mall, in the outer wing. The place is very spacious and specializes in the sale of imported Asian products. You can find everything from premium loose teas, a variety of ginseng, Chinese herbs and medicine, snacks, housewares and a section of alcoholic beverages. The prices are good in relation to the quality and variety of products they offer.

Very interesting Chinese store. Lots of exquisite tea to choose from. From cake teas (pu'er tea cakes), loose tea to powdered tea, they have it. There are also many tea cup sets, trays, infusers, tumblers and other tea essentials available. The little ones are specially nice. Their vast selection of Chinese and western liquors, wines and spirits are outstanding. There are chinese herbs and other dried products that are available for use as medicine like dried ginger, fruits, mushrooms, seahorses and deer sinews with claws to strengthen tendons (not saying I would try it but it'svery interesting). It's a thrill to go there just to see the products that they sell.

The decoration style is very distinctive. You can tell great care has been put into every corner, and it's also great for taking photos.

Excellent selection of teas and wines. Better than the monterey park location. Great service
