Fresh Choice Marketplace

Bought this a week ago and ate from it, got food poisoning, turned out it was EXPIRED MAY 2025. OVER 6 MONTHS EPIRED. Tried to come to address this and they WOULDN’T BRING THE MANAGER TO SPEAK. such a horrible experience.

I love exploring stores, and this one caught my eye for offering halal meat options. Located in a small plaza in Anaheim, it has almost everything you need. However, the aisles are a bit narrow compared to other stores, which made shopping a little tricky with carts parked in the way. Despite this, the store’s square footage is well-utilized. The best part? The prices are affordable, and the quality of the items is excellent!

It is a local grocery store in Anaheim Hills. They have a good variety of fresh fruit for a fair price, some berries are $1 for a box! They have a bakery, I highly recommend trying the Jerusalem bagel. The variety of meat options they offer is amazing, and everything is fresh and halal. There is also a small kabob shop in the corner, near the exit from the store.

I usually go to their other location. I like that one better. This one is smaller and they lesser options in meat and other stuffs. But I did get a few good Halal frozen items. The meat sections they dint have a lot of options and the guy there had problem understanding us. The restroom was also closed.

Very nice selection of middle eastern produce and goods. Includes bulk bins of dried fruit and nuts as well as a great bakery area with several different types of bread including zaatar bread and sesame bread. There is also a cafe with kebab plates and outdoor patio.

My goto place for indian/asian grocery if you are looking for an alternative to Artesia visit. You get indian spices, rice, flour, veggies, soap, tea powder, Lentils and what not. Prices are very reasonable. Watch out for their weekly deals. They are a killer. Good place to buy some meat/chicken. Not much variety of seafood in offering though. This place is very well connected to bus 50 and 35. Tip- Do you check you bill before you leave. Sometimes one or more items tend to get double billed. Not intentional but maybe coz they bill items real fast due to long queues or the machine could also be bit sensitive.

I found the place while looking for grocery markets in the area. The place is located quite close to CA-91. The shopping complex is not too busy and there is ample parking available. They have a good choice of fresh produce at a competitive price. It is not a very large shop like Super King or Wholesome choice, but has most of the items here. The best part is that everything is labelled properly and neatly arranged. Their bakery sells fresh warm pitas and other breads. I guess I will visit the place more often in the coming months. Highly recommended.
