Neighbor Food Mart

I wanted to support a local Indian grocery store, but my experiences here have been frustrating. The owner often initiates political discussions and arguments with customers, which is inappropriate and uncomfortable. I also felt that not all customers are treated equally. Good businesses thrive on respect, neutrality, and inclusiveness—unfortunately, this store falls short in those areas. I hope the owner reflects on how customer behavior impacts long-term success.

This store could do much better if the owner focused on customer service instead of personal opinions. On multiple visits, he initiated political arguments that made the environment uncomfortable. It also felt like preferential treatment toward certain communities, which is not how a neighborhood grocery should operate. A business should welcome everyone and treat customers with respect. Unfortunately, that is lacking here.

Great store and Indian pizza is so delicious!

This small market was a plain convenience store and it has continually increased its offerings to provide popular Indian foods. Bags and bags of fabulous Indian snacks dominate the displays - take some to your next party! There are several freezer and fridge cases and at last two aisles of grocery items. They have very little produce and they only have things like chilies or curry some days. Spices pickles and snacks and popular pulses plus packaged sauces, dosa mixes etc. Are most of what they have. I have always found what I wanted but I am an American and don't specialize in any regional cuisines.

Convenient and amazing Indian store in town with lot of options to shop. The guy who works there is very kind and helpful.

Nice little shop with Indian and American foods, you can get your masala and peanut butter both here. I appreciate this place cuz I like cooking Indian cuisine, but also I don't have to drive all the way to Hadley just if I run out of milk

I had a fantastic time exploring this lively Indian market. It was a feast for the senses, with colorful textiles, aromatic spices, and delicious street food. The vendors were friendly and welcoming, and I found unique souvenirs to bring home. A must-visit for anyone looking to experience the rich culture and flavors of India!"
