Ames Asian Market

Good store for most items you need. We couldn't find yellow curry, but perhaps they were out of stock the day we checked. This store doesn't carry sake (that we could find), but they did have a lot of produce. It's a decent store! We will be back again.

The staff is always friendly! They are really helpful too if you're looking for an ingredient and can't find it. The store is small but they carry a decent variety of things! I can usually get most, if not all, of the items I'm looking for.

Full disclosure: My wife and the woman who owns this place get along pretty well. Regardless, it's a nice clean little Asian store, owned by a woman who owns three others in town, and they always have little foods you'll not have tried, good fresh Asian fruits and vegetables, and a kind owner who's happy to chat.

I like it. It was such a cute place with a variety of Asian products. They had these cute chopsticks that kids can use to practice holding the real ones. Very nice store 🙂

My favorite Asian Market! I love Ames Asian market, they have the best selection of Korean goods in Ames, the employees are super helpful and friendly, the store is clean and easy to navigate and the prices are great. What's not to love?

Great little Asian market. Prices are reasonable and they have a good selection of items. Their produce is excellently priced. Good location in north Ames. Parking is good. Staff is nice.

This place is small, but a very good selection of Asian cuisine essentials and very friendly. I can buy all manner of spices, seasonings, sauces, noodles, and rice here at a good price.
