I have shopped at Whole Foods at Casa Adobe in Tucson, Highlands Ranch in Denver, Santa Fe, and now Albuquerque. This branch is outstanding and feels unique among the others. I really like the fact that it is 100 yards from !-40 and allowed me to shop and go easily. I really admire the beautiful outside seating area. It mirrors the seating inside and was well-shaded early in the day. Like all other Whole Foods stores the selection is crazy outstanding. They even had Yerba Mate, which unlike coffee, I covet for being both a stimulating caffeine beverage as well as a fully functional food.

I did not buy anything, because I went there with my bike to drop off a product from Amazon that was defective, but the place is awesome, a lot of options in all kind of foods, ready to eat options and pre-coked ones also. I liked the meat section, mainly the seafood. I need to go there agay to buy something...

Any trip to Whole Paycheck is odd and dissatisfying. I don't see the appeal? And the prices are too high for the quality. We gave the Carlisle location a few chances and were not impressed. But then again, anything Jeff Bezos does is not usually a good thing. They have VERY limited selection for everything. The food bar is a daily crap shoot. Will it be the right temperature, easy to package, inviting to the senses or well stocked?! Who knows? We tried the deli sandwiches a few times and regretted it each time. We thought the first time it was a one-off, but no. We gave it a second chance, and were disappointed again. The meat was not of good quality, and the condiments tasted odd. The flavors were off each time. We gave up and prefer the neighborhood Smith's, and Trader Joe's.

Every time I go eat at the hot bar everything is empty "every single time I go" all the soup bar is just empty containers. Doesn’t matter what time you go I’ve gone at 12 o’clock lunchtime and also 5 PM and everything is empty they need to stay on top of refills. No pizza ever ready! And God forbid you ask them a question about it you will get the notorious eye roll. Sorry for being a customer who wants good service.

On my very first visit here, I was blown away by the size, bright lights…The new Whole Foods store on Carlisle is truly a box store with class. Though some might say that Whole Foods with its amazingly huge and somewhat cavernous store has gone "Full Amazon". Speaking of Amazon, this store is the best drop off spot for returns in the city. Located right at the front of the store (with a little known hidden unisex restroom behind it), it is conveniently quick whether shopping or not and staff are wonderful. Bonus, also this store has the hugest and best tasting croissants in the city, currently for only $4.00 each. UPDATE 6/15/25 after a visit to a store I used to go to a long time ago which looks like it did 20 or more years ago and now with very high prices to boot. Its name rhymes with ‘shouts’. This other store still has linoleum floors, poorly working a/c and, no logic to their products locations. My visit to this other organic farmer’s market store today killed my ‘inner hippie’ original attitudes about Whole Foods. It’s great.

We really appreciate the variety of products and how beautiful and clean this store is. It doesn't feel cramped, yet there is a lot in every aisle. We particularly come for produce, grains, and their hot to-go soups and other to-go food items. I have loved every sense that I have ever had there. We rely on our grocery stores to provide organic and we are never disappointed with Whole Foods freshness, variety, and quality of organic produce and organic grains and other organic products.
