This was my 1st ever dermatology appt and it was great! Dr. Patrice Shaw was recommended to me and she is a very nice and down-to-earth person. She examined me, explained thoroughly what was going on with my hair loss issue. and gave a treatment plan. The check in/out rep was super nice and quick. The waiting area was clean and comfy. And the prescription pickup was a breeze. Looking forward to a successful journey!
I am extremely thankful to Dr. Jorrizo and his wonderful staff. They have been such a blessing to me. They really care about you and have been so helpful and kind. More than just a doctor office!! They are people that really care about you. I definitely would recommend them to anyone.
This was my second visit to Dr. J & his staff. They were both excellent & very helpful. With his help I survived 9 months of battling Impetigo which had finally ended. I am now still dealing with Ecxema. I appreciate his manner & very much like the way he utilizes his staff of what I assume to be residents or interns
My niece had an appointment Thursday and she came home so upset from her experience! After her experience my niece asked to speak with an office manager, she was told Amy Kiger was busy and that she would call her, my niece never received that call to follow up on any of her concerns. Imagine your a mother, two children, an 8 month old infant and 4 year old toddler, your told to arrive at 10:45am for your 11am appointment; even with two small children and getting yourself together you manage to present early as requested, only to wait 45 minutes past your appointment to be seen plus The additional 15 min she arrived early, so an hour technically! As anyone with small children knows they began to get antsy after sitting for a while, this place is not kid friendly and the toys my niece brought no longer occupied her children. At about 11:10am she walked up to the woman who had checked her in and asked how much longer would her wait be? in which she was told the doctors are running behind, a few more minutes. She waited til approx 11:45am to go back up to the desk and ask the male receptionist how much longer, in which he rolled his eyes and told her he’ll talk to her after he finished checking a woman behind her in and sent her away, by that time she was getting called back by the clinical staff. My niece did say her NP Yates was very apologetic for the wait time and that the clinical staff had good bedside manner, however she did have concerns on the length of the appt time being so short, and concerns regarding her treatment plan actually working. Upon check out my niece approached the same male because she was told she had to make a follow up by NP, when walking up the male rolled his eyes again and began to scowl, my niece asked if she can check out, in which he told her " yeah go over there and take a ticket " it was then my niece asked the male his name and informed him he was coming across as if he had an attitude for no apparent reason, the male began to laugh at my niece, after asking for his name three times he finally stated, "Antwon and I don’t have an attitude just telling you what to do" and continued to laugh in her face. My niece has no issues with rules or processes, however it’s pretty disgusting to be in a new office, not sure how the process works with check-in/check-out, wait times, just a damn kiosk and no clear communication, any new patient would be lost! Then to have the staff treat you as if your an inconvenience or laugh at you right in your face is despicable! Patients shouldn’t have to bare the brunt of disgruntled employees, people who love or at least like their jobs don’t behave in such a manner. This guy upset her so much she was practically in tears, nothing typically bothers Taressa but her still experiencing postpartum and managing 2 kids, while learning how to navigate this offices policies and procedures, without any patience and grace from Antwon is very disappointing, this guy was rude for no reason! I find it interesting how people apply to customer service jobs, working with the public but don’t like their job or serving the public. Antwon definitely needs to be retrained in customer service and if he doesn’t like serving the public maybe he should find a career that better suits his desires. He’s clearly there for a paycheck and nothing more! It’s already a preconceived notion that black people have horrible Customer service and are rude in service jobs, Antwon just gave merit to that idea! Per my niece the other ladies at the front desk that she checked in/checked-out with were very professional and had good customer service, Antwon (if that’s really his name) was horrible and clearly has no concerns with being reprimanded by the way he conducted himself! Being the first point of contact in a doctor’s office, he displayed intolerable behaviors! To laugh in a patient/ customers face, especially when it wasn’t warranted, my niece did nothing wrong to this guy.
I just wish the doctors would be able to review a patients history, when a patient feels like you have taken the time to take into consideration all factors, it makes it easy to walk away with confidence at diagnosis'. I do understand the number of patients to doctors is unbelievable now, I'm thankful for the knowledge.
I had a great experience as always with my physician at the dermatology clinic. What I didn’t have a good experience was check-in where a lady told me I needed to have $50 to pay my co-pay in which I didn’t have until the following day which was payday. She told me to call a family member and try and get the money from them. I was absolutely incensed with the insensitivity of her statement in question, and to the fact that she followed up under her breath because I chose not to contact a family member, that I had pride issues. I will continue to see my physician who has done well for me, but I will not get past the lack of care and concern at the check-in. I was already dealing with financial stress issues which resulted in a stress rash that I didn’t need to be compounded by the insensitivity of the check-in personnel.
Dr Mariencheck is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. She provides easy to understand explanations. I am extremely pleased with her professionalism and services, even though it can be hard to get an appointment and sometimes appointments start later than scheduled. Having her as my dermotologist is worth it.
