R. Erin Stigall, MD

My son went for a biopsy in April and we were billed $345.16 with in August with a warning that we'd be sent to collections if not paid immediately. This was the first bill, mind you. I called Aetna and they said that had been paid in full to the provider over two months ago. Smells like insurance fraud to me. Furthermore, it is next to impossible to get anyone from billing on the line. Insurance wanted to do a group call with me on the line and we are still on hold 30 minutes later. My advice, stay away.

Unfortunately I had an appointment at 10am and was not seen until 11am. Waited an hour past my original appointment time to have Dr.Stigall come in and essentially rush my appointment. I think it’s important to remember as patients that we are paying (insurance) for the doctor’s services especially the ones we only get to see once a year. Please if you are looking for a dermatologist take this into account and look elsewhere. Be your own advocate and do not let these doctors think or treat you as just another patient.

One of the worst doctors visits I have ever experienced. I had several issues that I had to discuss with her, that were important to me. After disrobing, she answered only one of my questions. When I asked her about the other dermatological issues, she ubruptly, unprofessionally, told me to make another appointment. It's insane that she couldn't even address my concerns. It would have taken a few minutes and would have mitigated some of my issues . I have never had a doctor tell me to make another appointment when I was seeing them. Stay away. It seemed like she was on a time schedule.. Patients aren't trains..

I don’t recommend her for acne treatment unless you just want a tret prescription. She was very rushed, answered my question and said "see you in 12 weeks" and this happened over and over while I continued to ask her questions. i left with unanswered questions - she clearly wanted the 3 minute appointment to be over. She had no real interest in getting to the root cause of my acne, offered no skin tests, asked no questions about my skin history or skin type, and when i briefly mentioned i had eczema, she quipped "well that’s not why we’re here today." Like obviously not?? So rude. You can receive this level of treatment on an app.

I had an appointment with another dermatologist in March. She did absolutely nothing.I knew I had problems that were never addressed. I had a very good exam with Dr. Stigall. Her staff was very nice. My appointment was made due to a cancellation. Thank you Karen.

Dr. Stigall is amazing! I had been to 3 other Dermatologist in the Wilmington area and all 3 couldn't give me a diagnosis each of them told me it was different. My primary care reffered me to Dr.Stigall and she was able to tell me that I had a type of LUPUS she took my questions and explained in depth and made sure I understood my medications and how to.use them properly. The office staff are all friendly and seem to be a happy group. I'm forever grateful I had almost given up on my condition until I was sent to Dr.Stigall. I can honestly say she is the most caring doctor here in Wilmington. If you want a correct diagnosis and a doctor who cares for you as a person and just a number this is where you need to be. Thanks doctor Stigall for your dedication to your patients you truly are amazing!
