First State Dermatology

I never leave reviews. I didnt know what to expect when I got there . But both Dr Madeline and the receptionist, were 10 out of 10 !!

The receptionist at this office is absolutely unprofessional and unwilling to accept any responsibility. She claims that everyone is just attacking her when literally she will not take the fact that she messed up on scheduling an appointment. I had to rearrange my life and she will not take any accountability. She’s rude. She’s inconsiderate, and I felt the need to even record the conversation as proof that no one was talking down to her. No one yelled at her. No one was cursing at her and no one was being disrespectful. As soon as I explained to her that I am recording this conversation myself her whole attitude changed and all of a sudden she started Being nicer. From the first day, I’ve come to this doctors appointment This place has been incredibly Unprofessional. And even when I tried to work with them to schedule a brand new date after their mess Up. They had no other date that could work with me and refused to let me go to their Elkton office because they’re still doing paper chart. I don’t recommend this doctor to anybody

My experience with **First State Dermatology** was very disappointing. I tried to schedule a medical appointment, but the service provided by **Ashley**, who answered the phone, she does not have patience. she ended the call by saying "bye bye" and abruptly hanging up, without any courtesy or empathy. The phone service is the first impression a patient has of a medical office, and this was a **terrible welcome**. If the initial contact with a patient is this negative, what can be expected from the rest of the medical experience? Unfortunately, I didn’t even get the chance to meet the doctors because of the poor phone service. The quality of customer service reflects the overall image of the clinic, and I hope they address this issue to improve their patient care.

after other terrible derm drs & cold terrible staff this office was fantastic. quick to get in for an appointment & that is huge. staff that is actually super nice & helpful. no attitudes 🤩 they explain everything. i couldn’t be happier. better than the rest on cost of services with no hidden fees. most other dermatologists promote some low price, then come up with 23 reasons why you didn’t get that price. this place is fabulous.

My fears were immediately addressed, with compassion and professionalism.. Thank you so much, Jacque. I felt comfortable and was quickly put at ease when I walked into the office. Thank you so much for making me feel a part of the family.

Dr Madeline is great and the front desk staff is very nice.

Dr Kumar and staff are very welcoming and make my visits easy and relaxing. He takes time to explain what he is looking at and helps keep my mind at ease during the visits
