I wish I could give zero stars. I arrived essentially on time for my facial appointment yesterday. Upon arrival, a staff named Becca told me that my esthetician was "on the way" and would be just 10 minutes late, and asked me to wait. I waited patiently. After more than 20 minutes had passed, there was still no update and no staff present at the front desk. Since everyone appeared to be inside rooms and no one was available, I politely said "excuse me" and "hello" to see how much longer the wait would be. When Becca came out, instead of apologizing for the delay and providing clarification, she blamed me simply for asking for an update. She questioned why I was asking at all and shifted all responsibility onto me, even though I had already waited well beyond both my appointment time and the additional time she originally gave me. I was shocked… Her tone then escalated. She raised her voice, wrongfully accused me of "making a scene," demanded that I leave immediately, and threatened to call the police if I did not leave. I did nothing wrong other than politely asking for an update. Later I found out my esthetician for my appointment was still working on another client, so what she said she was "on the way" was completely incorrect. This situation raises serious concerns about whether staff are properly trained on how to communicate with customers and handle delays. In a situation like this, a sincere apology and clear communication should come first—not blame being placed on the customer. I was handed only a manager’s business card and told to leave. I attempted to call the number provided, but more than 24 hours later, I have still not been able to reach anyone and have received no follow-up. Customers come for facials to relax and feel better, and they pay for that experience. Instead, this visit resulted in an extremely stressful and disappointing experience, with no accountability or follow-up afterward. I hope this honest review serves as a reference for others who may be considering booking here.

My first visit to Dermalogica in the West Hollywood Design District exceeded all expectations! I booked the Proskin60 with the Microcurrent add-on, and Yvana was an absolute gem. From her kind and welcoming professionalism to her knowledge of skincare, I felt safe, secure, and completely cared for during the entire session. The results were fantastic—my skin feels toned and firm! I will definitely be returning to Yvana for my follow-up skincare rituals. Luxury Pro-tip: arrive 15-30 minutes early to find parking—metered spots along Melrose are your best bet as it’s across from the Glossier boutique at the intersection with lululemon.

I believe professional service deserves recognition and praise. I’ve been to many beauty salons in West Hollywood, including some of the high-end, pricey ones. But I find that Dermalogica in West Hollywood is truly the most professional. The esthetician, Tiara, is very attentive and gave my skin a thorough deep cleansing. When recommending products, she always comes from a professional perspective—she never suggests anything unnecessary, only what truly fits my skin’s condition. Their philosophy is centered on skin care management, using professional products and professional techniques, unlike many trendy salons nowadays that add a lot of unnecessary extras. I feel very lucky to have found both professional products and a truly skilled esthetician.

I visited Dermalogica for my first ever facial recently. I was welcomed by a very friendly Simone, one of the skin therapists at Derma. I was taken immediately as it was 6pm in the evening. We went to the back where you lie down on the chair and get your skin assessed. As it was my first facial, Simone was very patient with me and explained everything we were doing. We started with a cleansing. After that she used a light to assess the areas of my skins which needed special attention. At the end you get a nice face mask with hot steam blowing in your face and finished off with a nice warm towel to clean off any excess product. It was a very relaxing experience and I enjoyed it very much. I will definitely return soon. I recommend to everyone.

I followed Vinnie to this location today due to renovation in the Santa Monica spa. Short term he is in WeHo on Thursdays & it was a lovely change of scenery. Beautiful area, immaculate zen space though I would not book a 30" facial in their two treatment chairs, in front of a big picture window to the sidewalk. Santa Monica’s chairs are in a more private space and their one hour treatment pods are fabulous. I wouldn’t miss his facials for anything! He’s amazing, sweet, humble, professional & extremely knowledgeable. I feel amazing when I leave and my skin always glows thanks to him. Whether you’re booking in WeHo or Santa Monica, he’s your guy.

I'm in awe!!! Just had the most incredible facial with Mingy and I genuinely feel like a newborn baby. My skin has never felt this soft and calm. Definitely making this a monthly ritual!!
