Got a 1 because it can't be zero. Just got done fasting for 30 hrs and doing colonoscopy prep for them to say I'm "not on the books". Never mind the confirmation letters just sorry you're not on the schedule. If you have cancer and need a scan....look for a different medical provider

This facility gave me hope that it’s possible to create well-run organizations - evidently by listening to those who know the field best! I didn’t know it was a physician-owned and run clinic, but I was so impressed by my visit that I looked it up to find out why. My experience was both efficient and kind. I felt like a valued human here talking to real people. All of the staff were so nice and in good spirits. Seemed like a good place to work too. The bloodwork lab was bafflingly efficient I was in and out in 5 minutes for a lab that was ordered minutes prior in my appointment.

This place has lost ALL concept of patient care. Not only have I left messages in the GREAT portal that went unanswered for months, but I have been shoved from one uncaring, non observant person to another for something my primary care doc should have taken care of but I have spent ridiculous amounts of time in the exam rooms waiting to be seen, only to spend possibly 5 total minutes face to face with said person I waited for. All while paying ridiculous co pay after another & yet another all on the same day. I literally spent hundreds of dollars in less than 2 months in co pays. Dr Rydberg is supposed to be my primary care Dr but good luck getting in to her in less than 6 months. These so called Dr's can't so much as look up from the computer screen to have a solid interaction with you. Then to have an appointment & be asked to come back the next day for the very appointment I had was utterly shocking. I made that very appointment for a reason, and then to be rushed out because you get 20 minutes whether the Dr is there with you or not and get charged for it. OUTRAGEOUS to say the very least. Today was my very last straw with this place. Follow up appointment for the very reason, I initially began this while deal for. I'm a few minutes early, checked in on line, wait any 10 minutes or so in waiting room. Thinking cool hopefully it won't take long for Dr Rydberg to come in. 40 minutes later, after being put in the exam room, the minimum vitals taken, and then I wait. 40 Minutes later, are you kidding me? Nobody gives a status on when I might see this Dr that I had an appointment with. After 40 minutes I'm done. It's called an appointment and accountability and do your job, you one the one you went to school for. The one people rely on your schooling and training for. The job where people's lives are in your hands. And you can't make my appointment. The one I pay for. NO, I am done with the Iowa Clinic. You can rest assured, I will be making my voice heard!! And I'm not paying you for your missed appointment with me. Not only was this very disrespectful but it clearly shows that you're patients health doesn't matter to you. Maddening is an understatement.

Excellent parking and excellent doctors. I have gone to this clinic for the past eight years. I have seen four or five doctors who work here. I consider all of the doctors who I have seen to be excellent doctors.

Due to recent experience. In my opinion . If you are a person of color or have a special needs non verbal child with autism, I really hope that you look elsewhere. I wish I could give zero stars. My son and I arrived at the appointment early and we waited in the waiting area for over an hour. Everyone else who had checked in were able to go to the backroom within 5 to ten minutes. When we were finally able to go back, We had to wait an extra 25 minutes to see the doctor S My son was scheduled to be sedated for earwax removal. And the scheduling for that was a headache. The receptionist who called a day before was extremely rude and not go lie I got rude back. They wanted me to starve my son for 13 hours and not give him any liquids for 8 hours....CRAZY AS HELL The supervisor called me and listened to my complaints. He didn't seemed surprised at all. #Smhhhhhhhh At this point, I feared for my sons safety and no longer trusted these doctors to care for my kid. It upsetting and brought me to tears of the rudeness and treatment of my kid. I really felt my son discriminated against. Again, I highly don't recommend.

Very disappointed and displeased by the Vascular Access Clinic Staff. The receptionist, Michelle is very condescending, unhelpful, uncooperative, and disrespectful. Both to patients and other staff. Her people skills and customer service needs a vast improvement. She is the first person you interact with and immediately gives you an off putting attitude. I wasn’t pleased with the nurse we had either. His demeanor did not sit well with me after the first interaction at the front desk. Dr. Fry was very personable and knowledgeable. His entire staff should take a few notes. We left feeling unsatisfied with the whole process. First impressions make a difference and Michelle definitely doesn’t make a good one. I’m not the person to find every little thing wrong for the sole purpose of leaving a review.. I hardly write reviews. It was so horrible I looked up how to leave this review while waiting in the waiting area. This experience was by far the worst I’ve ever had involving medical services.
