AQUA Vein Center at Water's Edge Dermatology - Wellington

I, as well as several family members have had sclerotherapy treatment for spider veins with various different providers, including Shireen Bower and Aqua Vein Center at Waters Edge Dermatology. By comparison, the procedure here was ineffective and the entire experience very disappointing. The procedure itself felt rushed and significantly more uncomfortable. But the worst part of the experience came later. Knowing it can take some time post-procedure to see progress, I waited six full weeks before I called to discuss my concerns-- that my treated veins were darker and more diffuse/larger, and that I still had aching in my legs, which was not indicated as a possible side effect at that stage. I was unable to get a live person on the phone, and it took several additional calls and voicemails over a two-week period to get someone to return my calls. That person, who identified herself as a manager, was condescending, defensive, and felt the need to tell me repeatedly how busy she was before even asking about the reason for my call. Ultimately I was offered one option: feel free to book another session for more treatment (with payment up front.) Oh and by the way, "Shireen only works part time but I can squeeze you in... in six weeks." While I understand that sclerotherapy sometimes requires more than one treatment for complete resolution, no one I know (including myself) who had the procedure done elsewhere had zero or worse results after the first treatment. And the difference in follow up and customer care was night and day! Unless your ultimate goal is a lighter wallet, darker veins, and aggravation, avoid this place.

Everyone from the front desk to the assistants that work with the patients are absolutely phenomenal, I myself saw Dr. Gio it was my first visit to a dermatologist and they make you feel so comfortable, I have even told my general Dr.s office I would refer all my patients to them, I am retired after working 25yrs in a Drs. Office and this office treats their patients the way we did. That in itself makes a patient very comfortable.i would give them more then 5stars if they had them😊

Love my new doctor at Water's Edge Dermatology in Wellington on 441. Her name is Dr. Apphia Wang. She removed 2 spots, one she shaved off & the other she cut & froze. Wonderful results, very very satisfied .

Nice, considerate staff. I was very comfortable with the examination.. Dr. Spock was thourough and efficient. I checked in early to fill out forms but the wait time was not bad.

Was very nervous as I had never been to a dermatologist before and the staff was incredibly kind. Dr Wang was super informative and I would definitely recommend them!
