Dr. Cory Rubin

If I could give a negative star review, I would. This doctor had seen my mom for a skin condition, and he was completely rude and said very unprofessional comments. Not only that, but he gave my mom a biopsy and the stitch he gave her got infected and she's still dealing with it even though she went back to get it treated. Do not go here!

Dr Rubin is one of the best dermatologists in Michigan. I highly recommend Dr Rubin to anyone in search of comprehensive and compassionate dermatological care.

Always always always late. Not just a little late but legitimately you will wait over an hr past your appointment time to even get in a room. There are better Dermatologist in the area that actually will respect their patients. Don't go to Cory..photo is from the waiting room

Firstly, I commend your practice for providing valuable learning opportunities for residents through rotations. However, during my appointment, I experienced some discomfort. Upon Dr. Cory Rubin's entry into the examination room, I was unexpectedly joined by three additional personnel. In similar past experiences, patients are usually asked for consent before being examined by multiple individuals, especially during full body examinations. The absence of this protocol made me feel quite overwhelmed. Moreover, while Dr. Rubin's rapid pace of speech and the crowded room added to my discomfort, it was evident that he is highly knowledgeable in his field. This expertise, however, was somewhat overshadowed by the overwhelming nature of the consultation. I was also taken aback by a comment regarding my ethnicity, which, although not intended negatively, did contribute to my unease. Despite these issues, I want to acknowledge that the overall staff were friendly and courteous, which I deeply appreciate. Unfortunately, due to the aforementioned factors, I found it challenging to fully engage in the consultation. I was unable to ask all my questions and left feeling more like a specimen than a patient. I believe patient comfort should be a priority, and hope this feedback helps in enhancing future patient experiences.
